This is a great discovery for a very reasonable price
I recently stumbled upon this port, and let me tell you, it's the perfect example of "cheap but good." This bottle of port wine has completely won me over with its exceptional quality and affordable price point. Its delightful flavours, smooth texture, and affordability make it a must-try for anyone looking to explore the world of port wine. Don't let its reasonable price fool you; this port is proof that great wines can come at a fraction of the cost. Cheers to a fantastic discovery!

My favourite LBV
My favorite LBV port, full of fruit flavours. At the time of purchase before Xmas it was cheaper here than in the supermarkets. No longer the case, so will 100% buy again but only here if the price is right.

The 2016 is a very decent and elegant LBV port that belies its low price point
LBV port, despite being theoretically ready-to-drink and a more accessible vintage port style, tends to fall into three categories:1) young and fruity - fine, but nothing exciting2) rich, tannic, in need of extended bottle ageing - very good, but not ready to drink3) mature, woody, readyThis is very much in category 3. 2016 is an excellent year. A full vintage was declared and the vintage ports from 2016 look extremely promising. This is a delicious LBV port. Full of bramble fruit, delicate tannins, woody notes, and some "garrigue" herb and spice notes. I'm about to order 6 more bottles. Unbeatable at under a tenner!
