I have hepatic cirrhosis, and this was recommended to me by my Vietnamese friend. Western medicine has nothing for me. This taste about the same as regular green tea, which I like. I put a little honey in it to sweeten.

tazo lotus leaf has been discontinued so I tried this one and so far I do like the taste.

Bitter taste but it help lower my sugar level.I did get us to the tasted and use honey then it was ok

This tea bag had an unexpected scent and taste of chocolate. Other than the odd smell, there wasn't any other discernable flavors that I noticed, and really didn't enjoy the tea all that much - although adding a touch of honey did help make it more palatable. Papaya tea is purported to have loads of health benefits, including anti inflammation. But I don't think I'll even keep the box - this tea isn't for me.
