Oh I love these. They exceeded my expectations. In fact, ever since I have received them I have been using them. They are so light on my head and ears. Other headphones give me pain after using for a while but these NOPE. They are so light and easy to place on your head. I love the retro design. All you do is press the right button and it turns on and off. You can also do other things like skip to next track. People complained about the location of the charging port but to me it's fine. There is no issue charging them and they charge pretty fast. So far the quality is great. I think the price is perfect for the value you get. I use these for listening to music and watching youtube videos and the sound is wonderful. Definitely grab these!!

Update - Nov 2024: I have updated my review to reflect my feelings towards the support staff at JLab. While I can’t say I’m happy with their suggestion (see below), today (Nov 8) I voiced my opinion to them. I replied to their email and was not expecting a response. However, within only hours, they had replied, explained their position, and thanked me for my feedback, among other things. I wish I could have returned these because of the rattle when walking. However, I’d like to recap - they sound honestly quite good, especially with EQ in the app. They are very stylish. They are extremely comfortable, unlike many bulky noise cancelling headphones. The battery life is great. Again, the comfort is amazing - the soft foam is great. Finally, as shown below, my original review is 1 star. I have upgraded it to 4 stars. Original review - Fall 2024 Original rating at time of review - 1 star I wanted to like these. :( The headphones are super comfortable, have great sound for what they are, and are inexpensive (and not to mention, retro stylish.) Bulky NC headphones make my ears sweat and I wanted something light. However, within a day of using them, I noticed that when I walk or move my head at all, there is a distinct and loud rattle from the right earphone. It sounds like a piece is loose and rattling around. I was gonna return them and move on. First though, I wanted to resolve the issue with the company or Amazon. Oh boy - that did not work out. When I asked the company if they had any suggestions for what to do or how to fix the issue, they informed me there were zero troubleshooting options and that in order for them to send me a replacement pair (to my, I might add, defective pair) I had to SUBMERGE MY HEADPHONES IN WATER (????) and film it and send it to them to “prove”…I’m not sure what, honestly. It is by far the most insane policy I’ve ever heard of. In contrast, I had some waterproof no name brand earbuds stop working earlier this year, and when I put out a review explaining my disappointment, the company just sent me another pair. No questions asked, no big back and forth. That is the kind of customer service I think these companies should aspire to. Especially cause, cheap headphones I’m sure cost like $2 to make. I’m not expecting free handouts by any means, but you won’t catch me *purposefully* creating trash by submerging headphones. The bummer too is, speaking of trash, I cannot find the packaging for this item, so I’m unable to return it to Amazon. Overall, a nightmare of a customer service and quality control experience. But until they can get their quality control issues fixed, and maybe figure out a better solution to customer issues, then I won’t be supporting this company. Shame too - the headphones otherwise weren’t all that bad and I would have loved to continue to use them.

All midrange and treble. That's what you're getting with the JLab Rewind 2 headphones. Some bass is audible, but only barely. Sub-bass is nonexistent. It's very similar to the sound of the headphones that came bundled with consumer-grade portable cassette and CD players in the 1990s. If a "retro" look and sound is what JLab were after, they nailed it. These headphones sound thoroughly unimpressive, and should not be the only pair of headphones you listen to music on. Everything else about them is fantastic. • They're so lightweight that their on-ear design is not uncomfortable even after wearing them for hours. I'm putting this first because there are very few other on-ear headphones I can stand to wear for more than an hour at a time. • The Bluetooth implementation is somehow better than many other pairs of much more expensive and "feature-packed" wireless earbuds and headphones I own. So far, I've paired them with my iPhone and a Lenovo laptop on Linux, and they just connect every single time without a fight. I can have both devices connected at the same time, and I can easily switch which one is playing audio without having to solve a puzzle in some app or ritualistically turn Bluetooth on and off until it starts working. No random audio dropouts during playback, and the headphones still receive well when my phone is in my pocket. Pairing and connecting has been so easy and reliable that it has refueled my frustration with other headphones and earbuds I own! • I bought the "2nd Gen" version specifically for the USB Type-C charging port, which is in an awkward but functional location. I've been able to charge these with every power source I've tried (both with and without the Power Delivery specification). • At least twice, I've fallen asleep while wearing them in bed and woke up the next morning with music still playing softly in my ears. So I can't comment on the actual battery life, because I haven't managed to drain them completely yet. At the low volumes I use them for, the 20+ hours advertised seems easily achievable. • They are absurdly cheap. Some will say "you get what you pay for," and I would have reviewed them more harshly if they were less of a bargain, but they ARE a bargain. Of course, that comes at the cost of durability. Aside from the metal headband, they're made of inflexible plastic (looks and feels like ABS), so it probably wouldn't take much to break them, but they feel sturdy enough to survive if they're handled gently. I would recommend these for spoken-word content where absolute fidelity isn't necessary, such as podcasts and audiobooks. Keep in mind: their design allows outside sound to enter your ears around them, so they're best for quiet environments where you still want to be able to hear things around you (like a home office). One last thing: do yourself a favor and install the app so you can customize the EQ. The factory presets don't really improve the sound of these headphones. I got the best results leaving the EQ as flat a possible and cutting out some of the upper mids and treble (subtract a notch or two on every band above 1 kHz) to compensate for the lack of power in the low frequencies.

For $25, these are a perfectly fine pair of retro-style Bluetooth headphones. Expecting more would honestly be unrealistic. They’re comfortable, the battery life is respectable for the size, and the retro aesthetic is *chef's kiss*. I bought them because I wanted wireless on-ears that let me stay aware of my surroundings while working, without the discomfort most on-ears give me. These are comfortable and lightweight. The drawbacks, well, the charging port is tucked behind the ear pad, which makes me wonder if the pad might warp over time with constant use. The worst offender, though, is the sound quality. Tinny at best. I tried some quick mods (Yaxi pads, EQ tweaks from another reviewer), which did open up the sound, but even then they still lack bass and clarity. I know open-ears have limits, but other brands have managed to tune similarly-priced products well. I know JLAB can do it, too. - The volume is oddly low on these, even with the original earpads.

First of all, I guess I'm old and didn't fully realize it, because I was confused that these are considered "Retro". I also saw a review saying these are the "old fashioned style" and cringed a little inside. But alas; apparently they are retro because I had a heck of a time finding these. Over the last couple of years I've wasted money on top of money buying in-ear types; small ear buds, ear buds with the over-ear hook, you name it. I must have defective ear canals because they all cause me pain and don't fit right. If I can suffer through wearing them for a while, I end up with very sore ears at the end and that's if they even stay in that long. Next I tried a pair of ear phones, the large kind that cover your ear entirely and they're not much better. Super heavy and I don't like feeling totally isolated from the sounds of my surroundings. 99% of the time I am wearing these to listen to podcasts while cleaning my house. So big heavy earphones don't work with all my moving around and bending. I just wanted something lightweight that doesn't cause me pain. Here they are! I didn't realize they didn't make headphones like these anymore until I found this pair. I still have an old pair of Aiwa headphones like these but they're corded, so no good for housework obviously. So I was very excited to order these. I don't find the location of the USB port to be bothersome, unlike some other reviewers. You just move the foam a little and it's right there, it's not a big deal. And the cord fits in it easily, I'm not sure why others are having trouble fitting it in, unless maybe they change the cord style. The sound is great so far, I'm listening to a podcast as I type this and it's nice and clear and the intro music is bassy and sounds great. But I'm easy to please sound-wise and am just happy I'm not in pain, so if you're a headphone connoisseur you may feel differently. They paired easily and immediately with my Kindle Fire, very intuitive. I like that I can pause & unpause the podcast or music with a single touch of the button on the right side. They are marked L & R, although it's a little hard to see. I put a small sticker on the left side just to make it easier. They are lightweight and SUPER COMFY. As a bonus, these have a mic and can be used as a bluetooth headset for phone calls! I didn't realize that when I ordered them so it's a nice bonus. They are adjustable and go fairly large, although the smallest setting isn't very small, I have to angle them back a little bit for them to be tight enough, but that works fine for me. They come with a (short!) charging cord, which is the mini USB unfortunately and not the C-type, but you can't win them all. They also come with a spare pair of foam covers which is nice. It has a red light when they're charging and it switches to blue when charging is complete. They took just under 3 hours to charge fully. My only complaint is that there's no volume control. That's a huge bummer, because when loud ads come on during my podcasts I'll have to rush over to turn it down. But otherwise I'm really happy with these and definitely think the price was fair. My search for comfortable and light USB headphones is finally over.

I absolutely love these headphones they have sold out before for a reason they are lightweight and have great sound for how small they are earbuds hurt and annoy my ear after long sessions or even just an hour I can wear these for hours as I work with great comfort I love the y2k look and hope they make more lightweight headphones like these they are genius as I haven't seen any other lightweight metal band headphones with Bluetooth anywhere online I want to buy a backup pair as I love them so much.

My favorite on-ear headphone is the Koss KPH30. That's a very affordable headphone that, against all odds, had me putting away all of my other headphone (some of which costing multiple hundreds of dollars, from fancy boutique German brands to expertly-tuned reference grade monitors). Those Koss have unbelievable detail & soundstage, delectable airiness, and an incredibly pleasing tonal balance while being comfortable and light weight enough to forget you're wearing them for hours at a time. If that sounds good to you and you are okay with wired headphones, go get those. No question. Probably my favorite headphone at any price. They compete so far out of their price range it's ridiculous, and you'll wonder why anyone bothers spending more than those. The problem is that Koss hasn't made a wireless version, and headphone jacks are unfortunately getting harder to come by. I saw these JLabs, liked the form-factor/style, and thought that maybe they could mimic some of the magic Koss has been able to pull off in the budget headphone space. After all, my wireless earbuds of choice have been the JLabs Epic Lab Editions. The price for these was suspiciously low, but low enough that I felt compelled to try anyways. Unfortunately the price point is appropriate. These feel and sound like $20 name-brand wireless headphones. They are completely serviceable. In fact, if you don't consider yourself picky about sound quality, I'd probably even recommend them at this price point for the feature set. Thanks to JLabs' EQ on the app, you can tune these to be reasonably pleasant (boost midbass 250hz-1khz, and heavy cut 2-4khz). And the soundstage is quite good (especially if you're used to earbuds and closed-back headphones). Along with that good soundstage is afforded fairly impressive detail resolution. Tonally, after some EQ work, nothing sounds especially out of place. The limiting factor is the undersized driver. In fact, as I was removing these from the packaging the foam ear pad slipped off and I caught a glimpse of the driver--it is considerably smaller than an on-ear non-sealing headphone usually warrants. I didn't let it discourage me, but right away I could tell it affects the sound. It lacks impact. If just one word to describe the sound quality, I'd say "timid." Bass and impact definitely aren't their strong suit. There's enough there to satisfy (though not impress) at low to moderate volumes, but these aren't the kind of headphone you want to crank. If you only listen at low to moderate volumes, you'll probably be happy; but if you listen loud, these probably aren't for you. Podcasts and classical music are probably the best usage case for these. On a positive note, Bluetooth connection has been rock solid, and battery life seems on track to meet JLab's claim. Comfort is nearly as good as my favorite Koss, which is great. And these seem durable enough that they'll hold up to moderate neglect.. and they're so cheap (relatively speaking) that you really just don't have to worry about them. If you like this style of headphone, though, the Koss KPH30 I raved about is my unquestioned whole-hearted recommendation. If you need wireless, Koss sells a wireless version of the PortaPro which has a lot of the great qualities of the KPH30, but with a slightly more rolled-off treble which many may prefer (I love overachieving highs). That said, I don't have experience with the wireless version, so I can't speak to connection quality or if they sound true to the original wired ones. But unless you're really tight on budget and don't want to wait to save money, I think spending the extra for the Koss would be worth it in the long run (Koss has a lifetime warranty, btw!). I know I sound like a Koss shill (I promise I own and recommend other brands too), but they really are the leaders in budget headphones and these JLabs don't challenge the status quo. I won't go as far as saying these are bad, but I think it's worth spending more to get something truly enjoyable to listen to if you're at all picky about sound.
