I love this item and has the capacity to make more soup than I did using a pan as its so easy to use and so easy to clean looks elegant on the shelf and makes loads so I freeze which is helpful when time is tight. It has great features as it also makes smoothies too and its not as noisy as I expected and takes no time at all to make what ever I need its perfect

love it! Quick, Easy, and Delicious — A Kitchen Essential!
This soup maker has been a game-changer in my kitchen. It’s incredibly easy to use — just add your ingredients, select the setting, and it does the rest. In under 20 minutes, you’ve got hot, fresh soup with minimal effort. The size is perfect for making enough for a family meal or batch-cooking for the week. Cleaning is also a breeze, which makes it even more convenient.

Makes good soup!
As an older person, I've found the lid heavy, and difficult to clean... But all in all a handy electrical appliance. Nice and quick soup maker.

Awesome piece of kit!
What an incredible addition to our kitchen appliances. We'd originally bought it to take away in our caravan on winter trips. However, after trying it out at home first, I have been using it regularly ever since! It is compact enough to store easily away in a cupboard, yet makes half a litre of soup which is more than sufficient for my wife and me. It's easy to clean and there's no maintenance of the unit to worry about. I've tried the smooth setting for creamy celery soups etc, and the chunky setting for rustic vegetable soups. It is very easy to use and the instructions are easy to understand. Basically, chop up your ingredients, stick them in the soup maker with a stock cube, seasoning and 500ml of water, choose the smooth or chunky mode and switch on - it really is that easy! 20 minutes to half an hour later (depending on your mode setting) you will be eating delicious, nutritious homemade soups. It also makes smoothies, which I'm excited to try out when the weather warms up a bit. I would definitely recommend the Morphy Richards Compact Soup Maker to anyone looking to use up all those odd bits of vegetables in the fridge by making highly nutritious and flavoursome soups.

Love love love it
I needed a new soup maker & decided to buy a smaller one as I primarily wanted to make soup for lunch , possibly with leftovers or odds & ends left in fridge etc.. This lovely, easy to use ( and clean) has been everything I wanted it to be.. I've used it every day since it arrived ( I never used the previous 2 this much ) as its so easy to use , uses up various ingredients left over and is so easy to clean .. only one thing sticks.. lentils.. always some left stuck at the bottom.. I leave it soaking with a bit of washing up liquid & hot water and use a soft batter scraper and it looks like new again.. it's smaller than a kettle & fits easily in my cupboard but I only put it away once.. it's stays out now.. Ready for tomorrow's lunch..

Would not recommend if using on a daily basis I have brought 2 in the last month the first one just died on me so I thought I had done something to it! It just stopped cooking and chopping,I then brought a second as trying to eat soup daily I’ve had this one a week and as it was going through the process I thought that was quick tested the soup it was all smooth as I poured it out the was whole pieces of veg at the bottom and what was smooth was not cooked very annoy and waste of money

Great Soup Maker!
Perfect soup maker, works very well, just the right size for me. Looks neat and not too big/bulky to store! Very easy to clean as I clean straight after use. Lid has a lift up handle and not too heavy. Overall very easy to use, will be using this a lot!!! Very happy with my purchase!

Great for one or two people, so easy and healthy.
I dithered on getting the big version or this and this is just perfect as I live on my own. I fill it to the lower line and it does me two bowls of soup, one of which I have the next day. I'm just making it up as I go along, not following recipes, but I suppose onions, sweet potato and half a vegetarian stock cube are essentials at the moment (I'm a vegetarian but you can use precooked meat eg ham). I made a tomato soup with tinned tomatoes, left over baked beans, onions, half stock cube, some sweet potato and chose the smooth setting and it came out great, not too thick or thin. I made a pea soup (including potato) which was quite thick, and my next attempt will be mushroom. Chop up your veg into small pieces which isn't hard as you aren't doing huge amounts. Put some liquid in first eg stock or a light spray of olive oil to the inside base, then the veg etc and then top up to the min or max line (marked on the inside so easy to see) with water. I always use hot water. There are some recipes in the instruction booklet but I'm happy using leftovers or what's in my fridge. I don't add sugar or salt so feel this is much healthier for me and I love the taste. I fill it, turn it on, choose the setting and then it heats, and whirrs away near the end, for about 20 minutes and you come back to a delicious soup. Be aware the outside gets hot. The lid comes off easily as it has a lift up handle and isn't that heavy. It just looks like another kettle in my kitchen. I'm hooked now, absolutely love it. It's not bad to clean; I often put water inside it leaving it to soak inside, then after eating wash it, you can use blend just to help it along first if you wish; but I haven't had anything stuck so far. So glad I bought this. I'd recommend it.
