We’re often in areas without service when off-roading and I need service always for work! This mount is a game changer. Securely holds our starlink mini on our side by side or truck. I’ve left it on the roof and towed going 70 mph and it didn’t budge! Been in the sand dunes and out in the desert on some rough trails and it stays put. Absolutely recommend this mount if you’re looking for a well made, sturdy mount to secure your expensive starlink. We did have to buy magnet pads separately that adhere to our roofs because the magnets on the mount will not stick to our aluminum roofs. Very impressed with the material used. Installing the mount with the dish inside only took a few minutes. I did not drill a hole in the roof of my car for the cable because it will only be there until I use the dish elsewhere.Also, if you use the cable that came with the dish, the dish will not start because of the voltage drops below 12 volts through the long cable. I shortened the cable and wired it to a heavy-duty lighter plug, and the dish started up and worked great.Also, I was concerned that the WiFi signal would not penetrate the stainless bracket and the metal roof of my car. There were holes in the bracket, and I assume they were placed to ensure that the WiFi signal was not affected.One suggestion, use thread locker on all the screws to ensure that they do not come loose.I received a good signal on my first trial, except under roads with a tree canopy. I drove to the interstate, and WiFi speeds ranged from 50MBs to 120MBs down and 18 to 20MBs down, going up to 80 mph.The dish did not move in any way during my drive.The next day we took a short trip going 150 miles and had good connectivity the entire trip. My wife was driving, and I used my iPad for half the journey.It takes both hands to dislodge one side of the dish. Once it is lifted on one side the other side will come up.I recommend this bracket.

I love it! Solid piece. However, I wish the space for the kickstand was larger so I can use the pole mount. Now when I camp I have to remove it from the cage to insert the pole adapter

The mount is heavy gauge stainless steel...extremely sturdy. Right off the bat, plan on spending at least 30 minutes to remove the protective skin that covers the mount and brackets. Once you've peeled away the skin, assembly is very easy and shouldn't take more than a few minutes...all that's needed is a Philips screwdriver, 10mm wrench for the magnet nuts. My advice is to install the magnets first before assembling the mount. If you follow the instructions and do the magnets last, you'll have a hard time attaching the washers and nuts. There is one downside, however...if you plan on using the Mini's kickstand, you may not be able to get the proper angle since the mount becomes top-heavy once its tilted beyond a certain point. Magnets are very strong and keep the mount in place securely...haven't tried driving with it though. I'd give it a 5 rating if not for the kickstand issue.

Works great. Never moved once driving down rough ice roads or 80 MPH on the highway. I did use tread lock on all bolts when assembling
