I actually purchased this around two years ago for my nostril piercing and haven’t taken it out since. It has not broken at all in those two years, even while playing sports. It does not tarnish or turn your skin green. I love the design with the snap so that you can make sure it won’t come out. It is super easy to insert and looks great. This is probably my favorite Amazon buy ever.

I pierced my ears decades ago so I could wear pierced earrings. For many years I had no problem with my piercings. Over the last 5 years or so, however, it has become very difficult to insert my earrings; I often end up with sore, slightly swollen, bleeding ears, and no earrings successfully inserted. It seems like the piercing from front lobe to back no longer quite lines up; after inserting an earring in the hole at the front lobe, I have to painfully probe around in my ear trying to find the exit hole at the back of the lobe. I concluded my piercings needed reinforced and the holes realigned (so to speak). I decided to wear smooth, circular, hoop earrings that can fully rotate in the piercing holes. I bought 3 pairs of the FANSING Surgical Steel Hinged Hoop earrings in 3 gauges: 20, 18, and 16. I started with 20 gauge and have graduated to 18G. After the 18G have been in my ears long enough, I will go to 16G. I don't want my piercings to be any larger than 16G. So far this plan has worked! My piercings have healed; my ears no longer hurt when I clean and/or manipulate the hoops. On occasion, I also have tried switching out the FANSING hoops with regular earrings; for the first time in years and to my delight. the earrings have slipped in and out easily with no pain, no probing for the hole on the back of the lobe, and no bleeding. I am very pleased with the quality of FANSING hoops and the fact the exact gauge, size of hoop, and finish material can be ordered. The listing's options are easy to follow, making it simple to order exactly what I want both in terms of gauge and the earrings' appearance. I look forward to soon being able to wear any earrings I want!

So comfortable!!! Ive been looking for dainty “huggie” type hoops and here they are!! They have the open close latch which is so much easier and convenient and rather seamless looking. I have 11 different piercings and almost every one of them has one of these hoops in it! I was nervous about the sizing but the chart helped a lot or google images. They’ve all come accurate in sizing for me. One of them is a little off from the other side so I have to adjust it a little when I put it in so it closes together. I have super sensitive ears and I don’t typically take these out and they don’t bother me. I have had such issues with my cartilage hole and it’s always irritated but I refuse to take it out haha. So I tried this and honestly the pain hasn’t really been there since!!! For reference and sizing of the hoops: I have 3 lobe piercings, cartilage, tragus, rook, conch and nose. I got 20g in all of them (I like that dainty look). To have them fit more snug (but still moveable): third hole 5mm. Second hole 6mm. First hole 6mm or 7mm. Cartilage 8mm (probably going to purchase the 9mm for this one because like I said I have issues with it and I like it a bit more loose). Tragus 5mm. Rook 5mm or 6mm. Conch I can’t remember but I believe 10mm. Nose 8mm. These are what work for me and are that snug look!

Quick synopsis: Quality, easy to use, arrived as described--basic silver nose rings. In-depth review: I've had many piercings for more than a decade now, my nostril piercings being two of the longest I've had. I have one on each side of my nose, so I purchased two of these rings to replace both accordingly. This was my first time changing out the jewelry of these piercings since the first sterling silver rings I had graduated to after initially being pierced with surgical steel studs. These (now retired) first rings each had an internally threaded ball for closure. Now, despite how easy it is to change jewelry for piercings, whether it be a trip to the local piercing shop or placing an order online, for whatever reason, I haven't changed mine in more than ten years--luckily, I've never had to as I've never had an infection or complications with the piercings in my nose. Again, I had always disliked the jewelry I had been wearing before making this purchase, the reason being: due to the closure of the jewelry being threaded balls, on (obviously) circular rings, this always resulted to the rings rotating and shifting at their own will, with the balls sticking out, if that makes sense--side laugh to maybe clarify, whenever spending time with my mother, throughout the past decade, I've jokingly ask her to please tell me "if my balls are out" when the balls on my piercings began to peak out of my nostrils... Ha--no more! Above all else, this was just frustrating, I'd even take the time to edit the balls out of images of me if I had not noticed them sticking out during the time of the shot being taken... Thanks to these seamless, clicker rings, I no longer have to worry about my sterling silver balls emerging from my nostrils at any given moment. Again, a very silly and minor inconvenience, but one that I am so thankful to no longer have to deal with. And, of course, this all could've been solved had I sooner made this purchase. While any seamless rings would've worked for me, I can confirm that this was a successful purchase. Having read other reviews, I anticipated the act of literally clicking the ring shut being as frustrating as my old jewelry, however, I found no difficulty in using the click-closure of these rings, the most effort required was a wiggle. This part of my experience may be attributed to my being familiar with various other piercings and jewelry, as again, I have many. Conclusion: These rings are exactly what you need if you're looking for inexpensive yet quality jewelry. An extra hand could possibly help when using the ring closure, but these are overall easy to use and exactly as described. ~ UPDATE APRIL 2024: About a year has passed since I made this purchase and put these little guys into my nostrils. They are still in perfect condition—no yellowing of the hardware, no irritation/infections/pain of any kind, the seamless clipping mechanism has remained strong and I’ve never had to remove these babies (or put them back in for that matter). If you’re looking for an economical but quality, nose ring, I’d still highly recommend you buy these! :~)

I got these for my helix and second ear piercings. They have stayed in my ears for about a year now, and they have not worn out or tarnished at all even with showering and sleeping in them. The gold is a super cute/ natural gold color and it does not look fake at all. The clasp/ snap is super secure, I have never had these budge or pop out of my ear, which was definitely my goal because I was looking for earrings to stay in my ears 24/7. I will say if you do want to take them out and you're not used to taking piercings out, good luck trying to figure it out. But going to your local piercing/ tattoo shop I'm sure they could help you out. All in all, great hoops.
