This rearview mirror does quite a bit. The picture quality is very clear and sharp and easy to see. The safety features with lane assistance warnings function very clearly with audio and voice prompts easily heard by the driver.The GPS will always keep you aware of the direction you're heading.The voice activations add hands free image switching and recording control options.The kit supplies enough cord length to tuck away the wires allowing for rear camera placement. I have my rear camera mounted in the liftgate window of a Honda Pilot making for easy viewing of the lane behind me. The camera is not affected by the lifting of the gate with a proper amount of slack in the cord.You can view both rear and front cameras in a split screen mode which I often use. You can also choose how views are positioned next to one another.Over all, I am very pleased with the functionality of this brand and will purchase another for our second automobile.

Uodate : after some good customer service from the seller, I received a replacement unit and was able to replace the failed unit.Because of the customer service I'll rate this five stars. The seller responded quickly and we did the troubleshooting to discover the fault of the original unit.Reinstallation was simple and I have both front and rear cameras working again.Original : Rear camera stopped working. Otherwise the dash camera is doing what it is supposed to be doing. Front camera is nice... the "features" the camera is pointless for my use but at least it's recording.The rear camera failed, I checked cables and all appears intact and connected. Just out of nowhere the rear camera stopped working right after parking one afternoon (Feb 22nd) so not even a whole month after install it failed.Support is useless and if there is a warranty... it's not being offered.

Overall, can't really complain. It works and does the job quite well. I have noticed that the image of the rear camera appears to have objects to the rear "appearing" to be farther away than they are. Just takes getting used to. It would also be nice to be able to change the backup guideline positioning, but they are fixed. I had a problem setting up the phone app, but received a quick reply from the provider on how to set it up. So far, appears to be well worth the price.

My old dash cam died so I needed a new one and gave this one a try. Just like any other dash cam, the usb cables are provided for installation. This kit also included a rear camera. Since I already had a dash cam with a rear camera, installation was simple. I just used the previous cables to connect to this system. The system acts like a digital rear view mirror. You attach the new mirror to you old rear view mirror. You get a view of the front from your front camera and the rear camera on the mirror. I like the buttons on the mirror and the video quality is great. Overall, this system works and I hope it lasts for a long time.

Not a good camera at all. Kept powering itself off

Clear video, doesn't keep the correct time. Time jumps a head ever power cycle. Sometimes it will remeber last view setting. G-sensor too sensitive.
