Overall great scooter – buy with confidence!
Bought this Movemagic scooter for my disabled wife, who had been using an Invacare Lynx L-4. She prefers the four-wheeled scooters, so this popped onto my list of options. Bought this one due to the overall good reviews, price, and purported range. So far, not disappointed! The big problem she was having with her previous scooter was that the Pb-acid batteries were barely lasting a couple months before needing replacement. And, even in the best case, their range seemed really modest – a couple miles max. After only modest use, that would drop down to one lap around the neighborhood or about 1 mile: weak! So was really drawn toward the Li-ion battery tech in this scooter. And it TOTALLY delivers! She can now go for 4-5 days between charges with her 30 A-hr battery and since we bought the “45 mile” range version, we have a spare 15 A-hr battery so can easily rotate between the two. In this way, we always have a fully-charged, fresh battery ready to go. Now she is able to do almost 10 miles a day, for several days, before needing to charge the bigger battery; the smaller one is about half that – 2-3 days between charges, as expected. This is an incredible improvement! The overall size of the scooter is similar to the Lynx, so about a wash there. The controls are a little different and the wife prefers the “pull” type lever on this one compared to her previous scooter’s “push” type. A minor detail. The motor controller is really nice with a more sophisticated acceleration profiling ramp. In other words, if you “nail the throttle”, the scooter doesn’t just rocket off. It gradually builds up speed so is more controllable. The downside is that if you expect instant response you’ll be left wanting, and likewise it is a more disconnected throttle/motor connection. This is a bit of a taste thing. The turning radius is not as tight as the Lynx which is a downside in terms of being able to maneuver in tight spots. On the up side, it makes the platform a lot less likely to tip over: it was waaay easy to get the old scooter up on two wheels and she is not interested in recreating the Dukes of Hazzard on this thing! The seat is a little less plush than the Lynx, and the back is not as rigid. But, again, she reports that she likes this one better. The motor and drive mechanism are SUPER quiet. The motor is quite powerful and the thing is plenty quick; faster than any walking pace when set to full speed. The speed control, horn and light controls are easy and intuitive to use. The built in head light is super bright! This was really nice – she had to use my bike light on her old scooter which meant I had to keep switching it back and forth. That the light control is now right on her dash is great. The battery is much lighter than the lead-chunks on the old scooter and they are super easy to swap out. I do wish the scooter chassis broke in half like many do as this helps to get in in the car for transport. But, since the scooter is pretty light it’s a minor inconvenience – just need to have a bit more space in the car/truck allocated for it. She’s had it for a couple months now and has had plenty of seat time. She still LOVES it! And, that means I do too!

Great scooter at a great price.
I am just below the weight limit for this scooter. I have driven it on our rock driveway, across our yard, and a variety of other surfaces. It did extremely well. We went to a festival and I was able to use it off and on for about 5-6 hours before it needed to be recharged. I can't tell you it gave me 30 miles, but it did cover quite a distance. I am 5'11" and found the seat comfortable and enough leg room. The scooter breaks down enough that I was able to put it in the back seat of my pickup and still have room for suitcases. If you keep the speed moderate, 2-4 mph you will get the best performance. The mirrors were useless for me since I have broad shoulders which prevented me from being able to see behind me. The phone mount, with the mirrors attached was in the way. It was fine after removing the mirrors. It is also convenient having a charging port for your phone. Overall, I would say this is a good scooter at a very reasonable price that gave me the performance I needed. If you are going to use it on tough terrain, pneumatic tires are available. Additionally, it is not too wide to fit through the cabin doors, if you are going on a cruise.

Perfect for theme parks!
I love my new scooter. I bought it for this years 10 day trip, to the theme parks in Orlando. It worked beautifully, we were in the parks rope drop until after closing every day, the battery never even got low. I even drove it back and forth from the massive parking lots, and through all the ride ques daily. The back basket was plenty big for all five of our jackets and spare shoes. The total cost of the scooter was less than daily scooter rental at the parks, and we didn’t have to stand in line to rent one ever. The battery is really lightweight, and simple to detach and recharge. The scooter is simple to fold down and stow in the back of our minivan, one person can lift it, but it’s easier to manage with two people due to its size. Having handles on both the front and back made it incredibly easy to load with two people. I love the cherry red color, it looks great with my Chiefs stickers, which helped me locate it easily among all of the rental scooters. I highly recommend it, especially for the theme parks!

Good Product, Good Company
If there were a 6-star rating this company would get it for their service and product to me. I received my scooter 6 days earlier than projected and when I emailed them with questions they always responded within 24 hours. I purchased the S-02 mobility scooter model with the 350W motor and have put it to the test with my over 200lbs sitting in the seat. A big concern of mine was it capable of taking me up the quarter mile steep hill that leads me into the park outside my back door. To my surprise and delight, the scooter made it up the hill with ease. I've driven it on gravel, lumpy sidewalks and it performed beautifully. I also drove the scooter on cobblestone for a quarter mile checking to see if any bolts or nuts would come free on the bumpy ride. At the end everything was still intact and still running well. Another big concern of mine was transporting the scooter. Before ordering I looked into buying hitches for the back of my SUV since I'm approaching 80 and figured I wouldn't be able to put it inside my vehicle. I was surprised how easy it was with only a little effort. From my experience I would suggest anyone looking to purchase a solidly built, good-looking scooter from a company who cares if you're satisfied with your purchase, then this is the place to go. Good riding.

Good investment for those with mobility issues.
Easy to assemble. Only a few parts have to be added after you unpack the box. Faster than I expected so dial it down a little until you get used to driving it. Great on concrete, pavement and smooth yards. Very comfortable and good battery life.
