Pottery Barn Storage & Display

I love this series and this one does not disapoint. It crosses practical storage with the visually pleasing. I particularly love the way it just stacks books against a wall, which I have adopted and they look amazing with no expense! Another winner.

Another inspiring book from The Pottery Barn series all of which are well worth having if you are interested in interior design and creation of interesting and homely spaces. Although inspired in the US most ideas will translate well into UK environments and there is little that one would not be able to source here. A lovely book to have in your library and don't overlook the other titles too.

I love this book! The pictures are perfect and has great advice for displaying collections.

Pottery Barnのシンプルで知的な世界を垣間見られる、素敵な一冊でした。美しい部屋の写真はもちろん、部屋ごとに適切なアドバイスが入っているのもとても参考になりました。特に、玄関周りからは「日常の慌ただしさを感じさせる物を排除し、その家に来る人々を受け入れるような雰囲気を作る」ためのアイデアを提案。高級そうな家具もなく、今流行のジャンクスタイルとも違う。どこか「やぼったく」て、「ごく普通」のお部屋ばかり。でも、日本のお家にも取り入れやすい親しみと、洗練された優しさがあふれています。住み心地の良いお家を探している方に、ぜひ読んで欲しいです。

I have really enjoyed this book. The colorful pictures are gorgeous! With help from this book I have created more space in my home. I have been able to store the items I use most in a way that looks beautiful and I have easy access to those items. The books also look great displayed in my living room! My company frequently asks if they can take a look at the book!

英語の意味は解らなくとも，見ているだけで幸せになれる本でした｡日本人が，なかなかうまくできないような見せる収納方法と誰かに見せて自分自身も楽しめるディスプレイ方法を教えてくれています｡とてもシンプルな物を，使いとてもクリエイティブな雰囲気にさせてくれます｡写真の美しさも手伝っており，本の世界ということではなく、すぐ手が届くような世界がこの本にあります｡買って良かった。
