Really great game. Such good value. Can seem a bit complex at first but once you understand the rules it’s pretty straightforward. Love that there’s multiple versions of the game you can play and the option to expand. Highly recommend for Harry Potter fans!

Great little game. A tiny bit difficult to understand at first but once you understand it, it’s great fun to play. Plus the characters are great too, they could even be used as standalone figures. Have fun learning and playing the game.

Fun gift idea for sure. Only issue is that the package was dumped outside in the rain, thankfully it didn't get damaged. This is more the fault of the Amazon deliverer. You get little funko pop vinyls in the game which makes this game a value for money

Great fun game so far have only played one game but there is not just one way of playing it's nice to see that there is a double sided board and each side has 2 different game modes like capture the flag and capture the point the characters themselves are great if your a pop vinyl fan you will love it or a Harry Potter fan I would definitely recommend buying this because it can be expanded by purchasing the expansion pack and they will probably end up bringing more out also it's worth noting that instead of reading through the rules you can watch how to play we didn't notice this till after reading the rules but it was still a very fun game.

Okay, this is great for Potter Heads but is good in its own right. Their are quite a few rules but the first scenario builds them up slowly so you don't feel overwhelmed (I played with a 9 year old and we picked it up after 2 games). There is a considerable tactical element to the game but its very fast paced and fun. The basic games last around 15 minutes with the more complex ones around 45 minutes: a nice amount of time without boredom. There are several variations in the game with a range of scenarios so re-playability is huge. Highly recommended. Great fun, tactical and fast paced, highly recommended.

Box has arrived damaged and this is a gift so a bit disappointed but the game itself should be ok. Maybe best buying in a store if possible because this is the second time in a row my Amazon parcel has arrived in this condition.

Brilliant game all round

The figures and board are very well made. My son loves it. If you've never played any funkoverse game before, it's a little confusing. We watched a few youtube videos to get the hang of it.

Ce jeu, adapté en version Harry Potter, vous permettra de jouer de 2 à 4 joueurs avec divers personnages de l'univers Harry Potter comme Voldermort, Bellatrix, Hermione et Harry dans la version de base. Vous pourrez vous munir d'un kit d'extension permettant de rajouter des variantes avec Ron et Drago. Petite remarque, ce jeu est sponsorisé par les forces du mal puisque le produit mentionne "Lord Voldemort", pour les Griffondor dans l'âme, gare à vous. Concernant la mise en place du plateau, tout est indiqué dans le manuel pour comprendre et s'initier à ce nouveau jeu de stratégie. Les figurines sont relativement difficiles à sortir de leur support mis à part en appuyant sur le plastique de rangement à l'arrière. Au final, le plastique fin va sûrement casser au bout d'une dizaine d'utilisations. J'aurais apprécié qu'ils utilisent le même mécanisme que leurs figurines pop, ouvrable par le haut et par le bas. Aussi, quand vous positionnerez le pied des figurines sur leur socle pour tenir debout car elles ne tiennent pas sans, il faudra faire très très attention. Je vous recommande d'appuyer sur le pied de la figurine et maintenir fermement la socle plutôt que la tête ! La tête est maintenue par un cou très fin et vous risquez de décapiter votre héros préféré. Pour notre première heure de jeu, nous avons pris une trentaine de minutes à visualiser la vidéo en anglais et les instructions en anglais afin de mieux nous familiariser au concept. Ensuite, nous avons fait plusieurs parties pour débutant sans utiliser tous les éléments et mécaniques du jeu. Pour le moment, on s'est bien amusé et on a hâte de découvrir le jeu dans sa totalité. Mes premières impressions pour ce jeu sont relativement bonnes et je n'hésiterais pas à le mettre à jour au fur et à mesure que l'on utilise les extensions et les sorts plus en détails. Pour ceux ayant des difficultés en anglais, malheureusement, il faudra espérer une version française, ou je ferais une vidéo tutoriel d'ici là.

Our family was provided an Amazon gift card in the mail from FunkoVerse games to purchase any of the new FunkoVerse strategy games or the related expansions. This was one of the sets that we chose to purchase with the gift card. The set is well made, The map is fairly large and made of a sturdy game board material. The characters are representative of the Funko style with the oversized heads and comically round eyes and are fun to move around the map. The pieces are well designed and scale well with the board and characters. I ended up ditching the plastic insert that housed the pieces in the sealed box. I am not sure if it was intended for use after unpackaging but we opted not to use it. I liked that several ziplock bags of different sizes were included to organize the pieces for storage. The gameplay is fairly complex but is well structured (rounds, turns, phases) and after some practice there is a consistent rhythm that keeps the game moving. The instructions are clear although as with all games it is easier to learn by playing a few times. There are also YouTube videos which we did not view. There is an abbreviated tutorial in the instructions to get started. We found this to be very helpful and then added in the more complicated components once we were comfortable with the basics. There are illustrated explanations of the basics maneuvres (visibility, moving around obstacles, attacking etc.) which are necessary as there are subtleties to most aspects of the game. We have played several of the provided scenarios on both sides of the double sided map. The different layouts (the more open Room of Requiremnt vs. the shops and streets of Diagon Alley) definitely lend themselves to different strategies which keeps the game dynamic and fun. The turn based rounds are balanced and well thought out. The most enjoyable part of the game is to conceive a plan against your opponent and then try to execute the scheme, much like Harry and team in the books. You will need solid tactics and a little luck to succeed. My favorite aspect of the game is it's ability to expand. We have also played with the expansion set that includes Ron and Malfoy and that added new elements to the game. But even more than that, with a little creativity and effort, it would be very possible to expand on the base set to create your own campaigns, maps, characters and items for a limitless number of scenarios.
