CAROLINA CHAIR Farmhouse Tractor Seat Stool with Backrest, Red

I really like the look of these stools and they are very comfortable with a small adjustment. If assembled as directed, the seat seems to pitch forward just a touch and was uncomfortable to me. I added a thick washer underneath the front 2 seat bolts to pitch the seat back just a hair and the feel was amazingly different, hence the 4 stars for comfort and not 5. As for assembly, if you use a socket set, the stools go together much faster than when using the crappy tools included.

They arrived as stated, and were pretty easy to assemble. There were a couple of design changes I would suggest. As others have stated you must put at least two washers on each of the front bolts holding the seat on, otherwise the seat leans towards the front and is uncomfortable. Also there are no pads included for use on hardwood flooring. you just have four cast iron legs setting on the floor.You have to tighten down the bar that is on the screw used to raise and lower the seat so it doesn't wobble. Once you do that you loose the ability to swivel easily

Seats are cute and well built but the seating area leans forward and it feels like you’re going to fall out of them. I followed the instructions to the letter. Great to look at not so much to sit in. No one in the other reviews stated they had this problem, but I can see from the pics it’s the same setup.
