Very good product to check the pH and salt readings of your hot tub water. Recommended to me by my hot tub dealer because I asked for a more accurate pH measurement beyond the dip strips. Very clear instructions. You basically just dip and read a digital number. These work great to give you quick readings of your water PH and Salt levels. It does appear to be close but not accurate. Comes with calibration stuff to get it more on point, but it's a limited quantity. Tested this against higher-quality products, and it was off by enough to make a difference but not so much to be alarming. So its a great tool for give you quick readouts without breaking out the big kits

Pretty simple, fast and easy to use tester to determine how much salt is in my pool to ensure I have the correct amount for my chlorine generator. Not very complicated to use, turn it on, remove the cap, dip the probe leads into the water and watch the digital meter to determine the salt water content. I have not tried the PH test yet.

I ordered this item cause I needed to check the salt and Ph levels in my salt water pool. It is such a great benefit. Instead of taking water to a company and having them test it and offer me their chemicals to reach my correct levels, now I just do my own readings. Once I saw that I reaches the correct levels, I am now able to maintain it by doing readings weekly.This is a great kit to have and it is easy to read.

Needed this for a SALT pool that was having a High Salt problem...this gave me an accurate reading...

Purchased this product June 30, 2023; was delivered about a week later. Salt and pH testers both worked OK during the 6 weeks they were used to test pool water. No directions were provided with the set so units were stored over winter in the electrode covers they came with. Covers are not water tight so the units could not have been stored in salt or KCl solutions as would electrodes in any laboratory. When preparing for pool opening this spring, salt tester reported very low salt in the pool water (Leslie's tests reported 2450 ppm) and over reported a prepared saline solution. The pH meter turned on and reported temperature but read 00.00 for pH on both pool water and pH standards. No supplier contact information was supplied in or on the package (illegal) and no Oraxpi website is available on the internet to report problems and get directions for activating the meters or otherwise rectifying problems. I am not interested in paying money for meters that work only 6 weeks and have no supplier support, hence the 1 star rating. I will not purchase again.
