Foam Oral / Cleaning Swab (250)

Following oral surgery which left my husband unable to swallow, oral swabs were the only way of moistening his mouth. OK while he was hospitalised but found out we couldn't get them on prescription via our GP once he was discharged. After searching the web, these seemed very good value so decided to give them a try. Yes, they do everything needed - soak up water fine, for swabbing a dry mouth, and he also uses them to spread his prescribed artificial saliva around the mouth. A pretty yukky colour, unfortunately, but that doesn't stop them doing a cracking job.

Cleansing swabs came in a huge bag containing 250. I bought for my mother who had just undergone extensive surgery and needed to keep her mouth clean.The swabs are small with long stick handle making them easy to use, being flexible yet sturdy.The product is not sterile so to ensure cleanliness we soak in boiling water before use. The product is well made and not damaged in the boiling water.

This product is the same quality as used in hospitals. They are easy and functional to use. Health and safety must be considered as the sponge can be bitten off.

I ordered the first time it was great for value and did not come apart but the second time not that great it looks like I have reject swabs they Come off and I could not use them on my clients very unsafe.I'm stuck with 500month swabs very disappointed.I am going to write to the company .

Good product, but advisable to test that the sponge is attached to the stick before using! Some of ours came off!!

When my cat saw this mammoth bag of sponge lollipops, she knew she was in for a treat. After the vet advised me to start brushing her teeth daily (the cat's, not the vet's), I found baby's toothbrushes too big and abrasive. Those little fiber-cloth finger puppet things you can buy were no good either... like, have you ever owned a cat? Trust me, putting your own finger into a cat's mouth with chicken flavoured toothpaste and nothing but a bit of soft cloth as your armour... not a good idea. So I took the wise advice of a stranger in a Youtube video with a much better behaved cat than mine, and I took the plunge and ordered these. (What's left of) my fingers are now protected, and the soft sponge is flexible around my cat's teeth and gums so it doesn't hurt her. I bought this product a while ago and still have enough to start my own feline dentistry business. Good value for money.Sincerely,A grateful 7-fingered customer

Well made, have to buy these as a family member had mouth cancer and had to have surgery. Foam heads are well stuck on though always check each one before use in case they do come off (non of these ever have and have had two lots), Well made and ideal for the job.

I use this all the time for my special needs child it’s great
