I had bought a similar set at a department store and they used six AAA batteries and within a week the batteries were dying. Saw these they had good reviews and for good reason they work well I love the light so you could see where your adding salt or pepper to your food and we’ve had the same batteries and these since we bought them.

I got these for my mother for Christmas, and she loves them. Says they charge quickly and hold a charge for a while. Now that it's just her and my dad she does not cook as much but she likes having the fresh ground salt and pepper. She says she has a little issue with the pepper grinder with the pepper corns being too big to be grind finely but other than that she is happy with them and enjoys using them. I got them for a great price before the holidays and recommend them.

I can no longer use my manual salt & pepper grinders due to arthritis. These are a life saver for me! I love them, and everyone who comes to my house wants a set. I’ve been using my first set for over 6 months and still going on the same batteries. They are easy to refill and you can adjust the size of the grind. I really like that they light up so you can see how much is coming out. I’ve bought several sets as gifts and everyone loves them. These make a great gift!

These are pretty good items. They are responsive & I haven't gone through the 1st batch of batteries yet. 🤞 (They each take SIX AAA batteries!).I found that the pepper was more coarse than I prefer and of course had thrown away instructions! It seems after testing that turning the grey knobs clockwise makes it more fine and counterclockwise makes it more coarse. BE CAREFUL turning counterclockwise as the whole device can come loose! There's a spring in the bottom, topped with a metal plates, then a white plastic grinder that contains a clear plastic plug. THEN the grey knob screws onti device, so it's a pain if it all comes loose! If you stop feeling the notched adjustment, stop turning it counterclockwise! 😬All that being said, it's easy to refill compartments because the bottom screw off separately. The top where the batteries are just has a notch for lock/unlock.I've enjoyed using these. Super convenient and really easy to use. I just give the details above FYI.

The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this as an alternative to a manual pepper grinder. My last manual grinder looked great because it was made of glass and topped with a stainless steel cap, but it broke at the grinding mechanism. It also required 2 hands to operate. Prior to that one, I had a chef'n pepper ball that allowed one-handed operation by squeezing the handles with one hand. That was convenient, but caused a sore hand if I needed a lot of pepper (for a rib roast). That mechanism also failed after a few years. This item had good reviews and a great price, so I decided to try it out. It's battery powered, and will automatically start grinding when you hold it upside down. It's been great for one-handed operation. I've been using it without problems for the last 6 months. I hope it lasts for a long time, but if not, then I have a spare since it was a 2-pack.

These have continued to be great grinders! Have had them for quite awhile and have had no issues!

This is the second time that I have purchased this product. I bought these for my husband to replace the ones he had before. The salt one stopped working almost immediately. It wouldn't grind at all. We replaced the batteries and tried different salts and it never worked. We do love this product however, we were disappointed in the last go-round.

Grinders are great. One of them is hard to open. Really hard. I put the pepper in that one because I don’t use much. But other than that they are great.
