Truthfully, I bought this candy for the jar; it's a cute, compact container that comes with a separate airtight seal on the inside. The candy, however, is a favorite of mine; it's very lightly flavored, and the small size helps if you're looking for just a tiny hit of sweetness.Shipping was a bit on the slow end, but I'd forgotten I'd ordered this, so it came as a lovely surprise.

I was worried that the bottle it came in would be too small, but it's not as small as I thought it'd be and the candy will probably last a few weeks. They even sent me another treat with it and a cute thankyou note with it.

Favorite one!A bit expensive, yes, but adorable and tasty. Also - you get a useful little jar with good lid - can be use for a lot of things after all candies are eaten. Probably will buy again

Delivered quickly. These candy are the same used in a few studio Ghibli movies and made my wife so happy to see! Was a great gift. Presented well, and well packaged. Not going to eat them, but they make a beautiful keepsake.

This is such an adorable gift, I love it! The seller also put in another candy (not konpeito) in the package as a thank you. I don't want to eat these yet as they're too pretty.

I bought these in three different flavors. The Wisteria (purple) has a really light vanilla / grape flavor to it. It reminds me of just plain sugar with a hint of vanilla extract! Very unassuming, but tasty. The Forget-Me-Not (blue) tastes like a mixture of blueberries and VERY faint lime. It reminds me of summer, or popsicles, and was my favorite out of the three. The Sakura Sou (pink) has the flavor of cherries and strawberries, and reminds me of eating fruit salad. It had the strongest and sweetest flavor in my opinion, and was my second favorite out of the three.Overall, these are super tasty! I'm a bit of a candy snob when it comes to Asian candies, and it means I'm hard to impress, but these really took me by surprise and I enjoyed them more than I expected to! The flavor isn't overpowering, and it's sweet without being TOO sweet. I'd compare them to a Japanese rock / sugar candy in texture and flavor. :) The candy comes in a small jar, and it's a bit expensive for the amount you're getting, but if you like simple candy and can make it last, I'd definitely say the price is worth it and I'll probably buy them again in the future. :)

A tiny jar full of grape flavored candies, they did not last long, especially with several 10 year old cousins running about with a sweet tooth like no other. I washed out the jar when they were gone and now I use it for storing beads. Will definitely be buying this again!
