Finally, Open-Ear Audio Done Right! A Big Thumbs Up for the SoundPEATS Breezy
I've been on the hunt for a reliable pair of open-ear headphones for a while now, wanting to stay aware of my surroundings while enjoying my favorite podcasts and music. The SoundPEATS Breezy Open Ear Headphones have absolutely blown me away and have quickly become my go-to for workouts, walks, and even just working around the house. What immediately impressed me was the comfortable and secure fit. The flexible ear hooks gently rest on my ears without any pinching or pressure, even during intense activities. I've worn them for hours on end and barely notice they're there. They stay put no matter how much I move, which is a huge plus for my runs. The sound quality is surprisingly good for open-ear headphones. While you won't get the noise isolation of traditional earbuds, the audio is clear and crisp, with a decent amount of bass. I can easily hear my audio without feeling completely detached from my environment, which is exactly what I was looking for. Conversations with people around me are still possible without having to remove the headphones, a major convenience.

They are okay but not for bassheads unless eq'd.
They are okay. The rotating mechanism is cool and different for an open ear bt earphone set but the sound quality is not excellent, a bit airy and gritty and lacking mids and bass, not sibilant, but with software equalization they could maybe sound like the ksc75s, and probably fine for people with quieter listening preferences for acoustic type music or videos focused on speech.

Had been using another set of these overears that I liked but weren't comfortable because of their size. Saw these on sale and boy am I glad I got them! WAAAAY more comfortable than my last set 🙏

If only they actually sounded good (YMMV)
I got these to try out after daily driving the Soundcore V30i for ~10 months and also trying out the Tozo Openbuds. The good: The case looks cool and the headphones themselves are visually unique, and the action of the lid feels the most solid of the three while still being the most compact. The usb-c plug isn't recessed so even if you only have a right-angle cable on hand, it'll fit right in. They're comfortable and light, and the adjustability is helpful without being too fiddly. They pair easily, and seem to report their battery level to the OS well enough from what I've seen. They don't have any of the fancy fast pair dialogs or anything, but neither do the others. The hmm: While nothing is playing, there's a bit of a hiss or steady crackle noise that starts up eventually. It's like there's some amount of energy flowing through the speakers at all times. You also need to register an account to use the app. The app itself is pretty slow and designed a little weird, but it gets the job done. I just opened the app to test, and it prompted me to enter in my amazon order number to extend the warranty, but the text input box was glitched out and I couldn't actually type anything into it. But there is some good here: There's a full 8-band EQ as well as some presets, and the headphones noticeably respond to it. There's a full suite of touch controls: single tap, double, triple, 1.5s long press; and all possible controls are available on all of them. The notifications are a bit of a mixed bag, some of them are voice ("connect") while others are compressed-sounding pings. The voice has different language options (en/zh/de/ja), which is a useful touch. The volume slider for the notifications specifically is also helpful and needed because they're way too loud by default. The bad: No matter what you do with the EQ, they always sound hollow and small. It's all highs, no lows. Whether it's orchestra, rock, edm, metal, funk, punk or even just an audiobook, nothing really sounds *good* on these. That's not to say they're as bad as something like the delta airlines dirty buds - everything's still all kind of there. If all you want from music is for it to be music-shaped and not silent, then I guess these are... fine. But the other two open earbuds I've used absolutely thrash these as far as sound goes: if the Openbuds are 10/10, the V30i are like 9.5 and these are at best a 6 or 7 after thorough EQ. The other killer is the actual operation of the touch controls: they're flexible, yes, but they're lethargic. They take something like two seconds to respond to any touches even if you have only single-tap controls set, sometimes you need to try a few times to actually find the touch area (exacerbated by the input lag), and the pling sound it uses to notify an action being taken is long enough to block out some of the music you've just skipped to or unpaused.I haven't settled to using these headphones long enough to really speak towards battery life. I've heard a lot of good things about this company's products, so it's a brand worth keeping an eye on, but these ain't it. Will have to see if they eventually come out with a v2 or something.Update: bumped from 2 stars to 3 after some back-and-forth with their support. They sent a second unit in case the first was defective, that turned out to not be the case and they ended up just refunding it, but they do seem like they're genuinely trying to do the best they can. The controls are still eh but the sound signature could be down to preference, I assume there are people out there that do like a really bright sound. Be aware that there is a separate base EQ on/off switch on a different screen from all the EQ settings themselves. Still a company to watch.

Bad Quality.
The left bud is not working, charging or turning on, I lightly clean the terminal inside the charging dock, but still cannot make it charge to turn it on. I am disappointed, but I cannot return as I work in the cruise ship and we move from one place to another. Although the right bud works, should not be this issue.

Excellent Over the Ears earpiece
Wow, this earpiece has excellent sound quality and it is extremely comfortable. The adjustable earpiece makes it even better to adjust for comfort and sound quality. AI Noise Cancellation is great. This is a must try. You will love these earpieces.
