Works great and perfect fit for our house. Great value and love the 3 pack. It keeps me from going to Lowe’s.

Gets iron out of well water the substrate holds up fine but the plastic discs end up breaking when the filter gets dirty because the water pump creates too much internal pressure. I thought it might have been from improper coupling to the filter but has happened every time. For the price it’s a great primary filter for water storage.

Have been using these for a while now and they work just as well as more expensive filters that were recommended

I’ve noticed a significant reduction in visible sediments in my water after installation, which is a definite plus.However, my experience with the filter has been marred by some quality control issues. Upon inspection, I noticed that the rubber surround on the filter is tearing away in several spots. It raises concerns not only about the longevity of the filter but also about the overall integrity of the product. Given that this filter is manufactured in China, I’m unsure if these issues stem from subpar materials or a lack of rigorous quality control during production.While I appreciate that Locofiltr has designed a filter that performs well in sediment removal, the durability concerns leave much to be desired. In the long run, for a household well water system, investing in a filter that is both efficient and reliable is crucial, and I worry that this product may not deliver the longevity I’m seeking.In summary, while the Locofiltr filter does perform its basic function adequately, the quality control issues I experienced have affected my overall satisfaction. For those in need of a basic sediment filter and willing to accept the potential for premature wear, it might serve well enough. However, I would recommend exploring other options that promise better construction and materials for long-term use.
