Takes Patience, But Gets the Job Done
Dr. Scholl’s Freeze Away MAX Wart Remover does work, but it definitely takes multiple applications. I didn’t see results right away and had to repeat the process as directed before the wart finally went away. That said, if you’re consistent and patient, it’s effective and much cheaper than a doctor’s visit. The instructions are clear and the application is fairly easy. Not an instant fix, but it delivers results if you stick with it.

A nearly painless tool for removing skin tags and warts
Yes this means you're going to freeze the wart or skin tag off, and it might hurt. But not very much and it's better than a wart because those could be catchy if you don't get rid of them. In my hand I find that there's more than enough freeze for more than 10 applications perhaps 12. I also find typically on my Feet it takes more than four applications over months to eradicate a plantar wart that's not very big because they just come back 75% of the time. But I don't think that's because this product is in any way uneffective it just takes a couple of applications to kill it at the root, and for some reason the Skin's real thick On My Feet so probably I should freeze a lot longer. But I'm fully satisfied and my outcomes are good and I haven't injured myself and it doesn't hurt too much. Just leave the blister to heal naturally and Flake away in its own time don't pick at it.

Might not work, but I know it can work
for my warts it didn't help, but I know this kind of tech works. I worked for me in the past, but for some reason not this time

Don't do it
I tried this on my hand to understand what it would feel like before using it on my 13-year-old son. It left a red mark that is irritated and doesn't seem to be healing. Admittedly stupid on my part, I then used it on my child, and he had a massive reaction. Huge blisters, swelling, and the area is red and swollen. I had to take him to see a professional and was told it's an infection. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

So far the only thing that seems somewhat effective
So far, this seems to be the only thing that appears to be effective. I’ve used other freezing treatments, the one with the tip or the Q-tip type thing that you into the can to spray the same stuff on it and although that freezes and hurts it doesn’t produce a blister. The blister underneath the wart is the way the doctor treats you to get rid of it. This particular spray, although it seems to just kind of sputter out of the can it does seem to start to produce a small blister underneath the surface of the skin. It’s the only treatment so far that seems to be able to do that besides the full on nitrogen stuff. I bought the nitrogen stuff a couple of times however it does not last long enough in the little dispenser to be able to treat more than once or twice. They tell you when you treat these to wait either seven days or 14 days before treating again, I have fast growing warts so I have to say that seven days is a long time and after that can of nitrogen has been activated. It only lasts maybe 7 to 10 days and then it’s empty by itself. This stuff seems to work well and it doesn’t hurt as bad as well so I’m going to continue to treat with this and see if I can get rid of my persistent warts. So far so good!

The Expiration Date Matters
I purchased this product a couple years ago and it worked well. I had a stubborn plantar wart on the ball of my foot and found that wart-removing band aids weren't getting rid of it, so I supplemented those with Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away Max. That did the trick. Recently I got a plantar wart on the same location on my other foot, so I purchased this product again. Unfortunately, it did not work. Instead of a freezing spray, it just blew cool air onto the wart. I was disappointed, because it had worked so well before. I then noticed that the can I purchased expired in 4 months. I saw a can from a local retailer that expired in 10 months, and decided to buy it. This newer can worked significantly better, but not as good as I remembered. I decided to search further, and found a can at another retailer that expired in 15 months, so I purchased that one. Finally! This last can worked very well! This product works, and if you get a good can, you will feel a sharp stinging sensation when you spray. If you don't feel a sharp sting that makes you want to grit your teeth, I don't think you're getting the full treatment. My suggestion is to shop at a retailer where you can check the bottom of the package for the expiration date. Apparently this product doesn't have as long a shelf life as the manufacturer thinks. I would look for a package with an expiration date that is at least around 15 months out. Edit: Since my review, I discovered how important it is to hold the can upright during use (as is stated in the instructions). Early on, I was not making as much of an effort to hold it upright. I still stand by my review, but the older cans may have worked better if I had done a better job of holding them upright. Unfortunately this is hard to do if you are treating the bottom of your foot. But I could do a pretty good job (even though it was awkward) by laying on my back on the couch, with my knees against my chest.

Best one out there. I Think.
Don't usually do reviews, but had to for this one. Tried others before which required several applications and ugly looking white scabs for days and did not work, wart came back after a while. This took one application and scabbed over after a few days, no unsightly white scab. I was going to reapply after 14 days, but scab fell off and new skin was left. Will reserve final judgement for future just in case it returns, but looks gone for now. Be patient and wait out the 14 days before reapplying.
