The first one I ordered didn't work. The remote was DOA. (I have extensive experience with IR technology and know how to check for IR hex coded). Ordered a second one and it worked perfect. The light itself produces just the right amount of light for our laundry room. Having a remote to choose settings is a nice feature but oddly, you must set 'color temperature'(Cool - Natural - Warm) on the back side while the light is not mounted. I particularly like the fact that is has a 5 second delay setting because I use an ESP32 with an LDR sensor to flash a warning over the outside of both entry doors, that the room is occupied when the light is on. This keeps my wife from freaking out when she is in there and I want to go through.

I used this ceiling light to replace an old fluorescent tube light in my garage that was dim and flickered. The new light is essentially a square LED panel that has a switch to change the color temperature, a built-in motion sensor, and comes with a remote controller. The panel seems to be well-built and feels very light. It comes with a circular mounting disc that screws into the ceiling electrical box, and this is what holds the light panel to the ceiling. There is a wire harness that links the light panel to the ceiling mount, which frees up your hands to do the wiring. The light panel lines up to notches in the ceiling mount, and twists to lock into place.The wall light switch can turn this light on and off, but if I just leave the light switch on, there is a timer that will automatically turn off the light. The built-in motion sensor will turn the light back on when it senses motion. Both the timer shutoff and motion sensor sensitivity can both be adjusted using the remote controller.When I set the motion sensor to 100%, it was very sensitive. As soon as I opened the inner door to the garage, it turned the light on. At the 25% default sensitivity, the light did not turn on until I was almost right underneath it. There is also a light sensor that prevents the light from turning on when there is ambient light in the garage, like during the daytime. The sensitivity for this can be adjusted or turned off completely so that the light will always turn on, even in the daylight.Overall, this is a very good ceiling light that is easy to install and has lots of useful features. I really like the radar based motion sensor versus the PIR sensors that I always seem to have to wave my arms around to get them to turn on. The remote controller also makes it very convenient to change the settings, but it is an infrared controller, so it is line of light. The LED panel is very bright and should last a long time. As a ceiling light, it is ideal for garages or closets, so you don’t have to hunt for a light switch.

Its definitely a low-power microwave radar based motion sensor, because this thing can pick up my movements out of sight, on the other side of a sheet of cardboard. Good lamp brightness for being so thin, and the angle of illumination is decently wide. The remote is pretty small, but function is intuitively designed. Dont lose that remote or you wont have any control of rhe lamp again! No manner of buttons are anywhere that I saw on the fixture itself. The remote gives plenty of parameters to adjust, and timers as well. Im fairly sure the remote is IR based though, so point it at the lamp fixture to ensure commands are received.Very neat motion detection... Its slightly spooky how it can "see" me through certain objects! I try to keep it turned down to the lowest power setting to avoid any extended exposure to those wavelengths, because like to be extra safe when it comes to anything within the milliwave or microwave bands.The lamp can be set to remain on for varied lengths of time, but it also can be turned ON or OFF. I am still not sure if it will remain on the entire time the room is occupied, while on full detection power. On lower power levels, and if I sit still, the lamp will time out and stay off until I get up and move. Basically, its not one of those creepy "presence detector" type systems.. so it isnt picking up anyone breathing or anyone's heart beats. Its a little less intrusive than that and Im at least comfortable with it in the home.

This review is for LEZOE 24W Motion Sensor LED Ceiling Light dimmable, 12Inch ..., $39.99I installed this in my laundry room, replacing a very similar light that was quite a bit smaller. That light replaced a fan/light combo that I removed because I don't need a fan there and couldn't stand the noise it made. However, the first replacement was smaller than the hole in the ceiling from the fan/light combo and didn't look good. However, this new light is much bigger and covers up the hole completely.The bottom line is that installation was pretty simple because I had already gone through the pain of setting things up properly with the first replacement light. It's not the simplest project, and if you're not handy with electrical things, I wouldn't recommend trying this on your own. However, being able to hang the light from the fixture with the supplied cable, however short, really helps. The other thing to remember is to set the color you want before you attach the light to the ceiling!With the default settings, this light works perfectly. It makes plenty of light for my small laundry room. It has a door coming into it from the garage, and as soon as I start opening the door, and maybe even earlier, it turns the light on, so I don't ever walk into a dark room. I think with the radar sensor it can detect me before I even open the door, something that traditional motion sensors can't do.Recommended!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LIGHT, IT DOESN'T WORK AS ADVERTISE. SOMETIMES IT CAME ON ,SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T.
