I've got a Border Collie (3 years old, about 40 pounds) that can jump high. This product allowed me to keep him outside as I built the fence that would eventually make this product unnecessary for us! Once I got the top layer of the ground broken, it was pretty easy to spiral the stake in deeper. 10 ft may have been too short for a long term solution, but for my purposes it was fine.I'd only recommend this for medium sized dogs or smaller, as my dog can wiggle the stake if he pulls hard enough.

Bought this for our 35lb Beagle/Lab mix and works very well. Easy to install and no issues with it staying in the ground. The cord is very durable. Only complaint is that the cord can easily get looped into the top triangle space since there is a little gap. Overall, happy with my purchase.

We've had ours for about a month now, and the leash connection to the stake has already started to rust and seize. So when the dog runs around the stake, the leash gets tangled.

I love how durable the cable is. I have a small dog - but over time the thinner cables break even with a small dog. This is more durable but not too heavy for my dog to move around. Its the perfect length b/c I also have a smaller front yard and don't want him getting too close to the street. Highly recommend!

I use these for my dogs when we are camping and need to keep them secured when outside. These are sturdy and easy to screw into the ground. My dogs are between 30 and 40 pounds and these are definitely strong enough to keep them safely tethered.

The product itself works well. But the stainless steel peels off (poor quality) and the spike shows signs of rust.

Funniest thing is, the seller puts a picture of a Siberian Husky wearing a hat thinking this cable would hold a pup like that. I own 2 Huskies and this cable would barely hold a pup half that size. The rotating metal ring was durable, but the cable itself was so thin, a pair of grade-school plastic scissors could cut through it. The cable is just as important at the rotating ring; mainly because you want to make sure your pup doesn't move around an area where the cable rubs against something and tears. I mention this only because it's happened to me before. The other concerning reason is if your pup is a chewer and attempts to chew through it. I'd spend the extra money and find a tie out with a thicker cable.
