I ordered this as it looked something different to plant some herbs in. The galvanised steel seems strong when assembled and at 120cmx120cmx29cm, it’s a great size if you wanted to put it around trees.It comes very well packaged with all the steel panels, nuts and bolts wrapped in plastic to keep them together. You also get gloves, screwdriver and spanner in the same wrapping. Assembly is straightforward but protect your flooring as there are a few sharp areas, even though the top and bottom edges are rolled.I appreciated the thought of providing gloves but I did get them caught up in the bolts so gave up with them and just carefully used bare hands! I can’t wait to set this up in my garden and get it planted up. Happy to recommend.

Each bed is assembled from six segments, which you bolt together with a total of 24 nuts and bolts per bed. A screwdriver, spanner and gloves are provided to aid in assembly.The segments themselves are very high quality of thick galvanised metal. Both top and bottom edges are rolled over, as are the corners, rolled inwards so they are not a catch hazard. Thought has been put into the design. Likewise the nuts and bolts are galvanised, and a total of 4 spare were provided.The assembled beds are a good size and depth, perfect for an allotment or a veg plot at the bottom of the garden.

Very happy with the beds ordered for our allotment. They come in sections so you have to bolt them together. It takes a bit of time to put together it as there's 6 sections and 24 bolts to tighten for each one so you might want to use a cordless screwdriver/drill. .

There is a little easy self assembly required to bolt the 2 sides of the circles together, but nothing to be worried about. You even get provided with a pair of gloves to ensure that you don't cut yourself on the potentially sharp rim of the circles that you place into the earth. The top edges that you actually see are smooth and shouldn't cut you.The raised beds are actually pretty large, and are definitely heavy duty (and also heavy!). These are going to last many years in your garden and are very solid.

They will make two brilliant raised beds down my allotment. Having heavy clay soil, I have found that raised beds that don't have to be walked on and can be gently turned over, rather than dug, is the way to go.The set of twelve thick, galvanised metal sections bolt together very easily, using the fixings provided and even gloves, screwdriver and spanner. I am impressed by the quality, the thickness of the galvanised sheets and ease of assembly. They are universal, so it doesn't matter which way up they are - they fit together with the four nuts and bolts per two sections, through pre made holes. The top and base edges have been turned over neatly to prevent injuries due to sharpness.It didn't take long to assemble them into 6 pairs, allowing me to take them in the car down to the allotment for the final assembly down there. They do indeed measure 4 foot in diameter, which makes them look a lot bigger than I had imagined and at 1 foot tall, they will take a lot of filling. I am planning to use some horse manure in the base to make a 'hot bed' of sorts, then use compost and some topsoil from the plot to fill them up.The current price of £89.99 is good value for money, in my opinion, for the great quality and size of these brilliant raised beds. I couldn't be happier with them and can definitely recommend.

There's a lot to like about these giant garden beds, despite the sheer mahoosive size of them (unless that's what you get them for - in which case, you're going to be insanely happy). They look very nice, and make for a great statement in the garden. Once you've fixed all the parts together with the included bolts, they are extremely rigid and sturdy, which is great in ensuring that none of your soil spills out through the joins.The only disappointing aspect is that while the majority of the rims and ridges are indeed smooth and safe to the touch, there are small areas of the top/bottom rim which are not smooth and are in fact abrasive and you do risk cutting your fingers if handling those spots without the included installation gloves. Otherwise, very good.
