The angle guide is handy; a quality product.
Very handy and convenient to have on my workbench. Leaving it there as a reminder to get out the Workshop Elite Pro. But if I didn't have time then this small sharpener works real good to do a quick job. Keep it sharp and won't have the hassle of of honing dull S35V steel which can be a pain in the... I also use the ceramic side to finish up. I also like Worksharps diamond abrasives. Good quality stuff for sure.

Very good almost pocket size sharpener
This is not quite what I would call pocket size but it is small and convenient for keeping with you. For a jacket pocket or hunting pants this can be carried comfortably. This sharpener has one diamond and one ceramic. The diamond coarseness appears to be in between the coarse and fine diamonds on the full size Work sharp but it may just be my perception of that. Regardless, this sharpener works very well at sharpening with the diamond and honing with the ceramic. It usually takes me about 10 strokes on each to get a sharp edge. This will depend on how sharp your knife is before you start. Keep this with you when you go camping, hunting or fishing to keep your knives and other tools sharp. It’s small enough to keep with you and get the job done. I use it when I don’t have my full size Work sharp handy. Since the diamond side can’t be removed and flipped over like the full size one don’t put it next to something that could get scratched by the diamond. It would be great if a small cloth bag or something was included to keep it in.

Good Little Sharpener
I picked this up to use for backpacking. I also planned to use it to teach boy-scouts how to sharpen knives. My thought on both counts is that it will sufficient. The small size and simplicity of use will be good for the scouts. Also the angle guides will help in being able to explain the importance of keeping the angle while using the stone. As for backpacking, it is able to fit in the sleeve my Benchmade 940 came in. So I can drop it in the sleeve and into my pack and not worry about the diamond grit tearing something in my pack. My 940, s30v steel, needed a touch up, so I decided to test this out to see how it would do. I was able to get a working edge back with about 20 strokes per side and 10 per side on the ceramic. The diamond stone did offer a bit of resistance, I did feel the knife catch a few times during the first passes. For what this is it is great, that is a small pocket sharpener that has angle guides on it. If you are planning on being a stickler to a certain bevel angle, you may want to pass, as the angle guides will get in the way if you are trying to do less than the angle guides allow. With that said this is a great way to learn to hand sharpen because of these guides. All n all a compact lightweight solution for being able to sharpen a knife when your normal method of sharpening is not available.

Great tool for a touch up in the field.
I have used this item on pocket knives, steak knives, and even an axe, just because it was nearby. It worked well on all. Very handy and easy to use. Takes a little practice and patience.

Quality you can see, producing quality edges you can feel( Carefully!)
Work Sharp means quality products, and this little gem is no exception. I needed a portable option to keep in my shop at work for maintaining edges & quick touch ups. I was tired of going back to my truck to grab my work sharp guided field sharpener. To keep it short & sweet , it works. The diamond abrasives are course enough for maintenance, and if a knife gets really dull I can always use the more course field sharpener. Highly recommended

SO EASY !!!
Worksharp Pocket Knife SharpenerVery lightweight and well made. Easy to carry.Prior to using this sharpener, I had only used pull-through style sharpeners. So with zero experience using this type of sharpener, I was able to get a blade much sharper than the factory edge. Extremely sharp, in fact. It only took a minute or 2 to get the hang of the motion. I did watch some instructional videos on knife sharpening prior to using this the first time.Besides the fact that I cut myself with a machete I was sharpening, I've had no problems at all with this tool. (Which is a testament to how well the sharpener works. This machete wouldn't have cut me had I not sharpened it before it touched my skin.) I do recommend using a protective glove on the hand you're holding the sharpener with 😀With the course diamond grit side I was able to put a convex grind on an unsharpened part of a carbon steel blade. It took a few minutes and some elbow grease, but got it done. Not as beautiful as some belt sanded blades, but definitely functional. It's super easy and quick to put a very sharp edge back on a lightly used, slightly dull blade with this tool. I'm really enjoying using the sharpener. And getting better at it with each use. I'm quite confident and able to get a razor sharp edge on a knife after only 3 days and a couple hours total time of use.

Awkward to hold because too small and NOT ergonomic.
This will put a rough and crappy edge on a blade in a hurry. Then, later, at home, you will have to take time and undo all the damage this did to your edge. It works in a pinch and that is absolutely all. It should be $1.99 at Walmart. Do not use except in semi-emergencies.

Great field sharpener
Great little field sharpener. Super easy to use, inexpensive, lightweight, and leagues better than a pull through carbide based sharpener. Can't recommend this enough. Pair with a strip and you'll be able to get some great results. Not quite as good as what I can do with something like my lansky system but pretty darn good given that this thing is a fraction of the cost and far more compact. Just watch your fingers when you're holding it for larger knives.
