Each tier plate is thick and sturdy. One of the holder edge is cracked but still was able to use it Remember to take off the protective cover of each plate. It may take awhile for you to take off do not be tempted to use any sharp object for if will easy scratch it. The holder in the middle is also thick and holds all plates in place when assemble. Looked elegant on my dessert table!

No instructions on how to assemble and the Allen key was the wrong size, however it was fairly straightforward with the right tools. Really happy with the look and quality once put together though. This was the centrepiece at a party, people were asking where to get one!
