It works great

At first I didn't realize I needed to change the voltage and it wasn't working. Once I figured it out it's been working as it should. 4 stars because the instructions about changing the voltage were a little confusing.

Cords work perfectly

It worked great it had alot of adapter ends and had the one I needed.It is also 45.00 cheaper then anywhere else.

With the array of voltages and tips available, you could use this with a lot of things. As it so happens, I've ended up using it with a couple musical keyboards/synthesizers, works well as a replacement for a Yamaha PA-10 as far as I can tell. No problems getting the tip on and it fits well. Seems like a decently-made power supply all over.

Don't buy this! None of the 12 or more adapters fit my ThinkPad! Don't waste your money.

I needed a replacement 20v AC power adapter for an aquarium LED light and it had a specific plug that I couldn't find. I ordered this because it came with the different adapters and found one that worked. Light is back up and working. A couple things to note about this: 1. It comes with multiple adapters, making this a very universal option. 2. The voltage is selectable. Changing the voltage has a nice audible click and you can feel it lock into place for the voltage selected. Again, this definitely helps with the universal factor. 3. The power output is pretty close to accurate. Close enough for my purposes anyway. Voltages shown are not under a loan, so your results may vary a little bit with a load on it. 4. You cannot select in between the voltages if you need something in the middle (example; there is a 6v and a 10v setting. You can't put it in between to get 8v) 5. Some of the adapters have the same number, but are definitely different sizes. You can see in the pic with the 5 adapters, that there are only two different numbers for these plugs but they are all different. You have to use the instructions to see what sizes they actually are, so hang onto those just in case. 6. Running at 20v, this powered my light and I did not notice any heat buildup in either the adapter or the connection (checked after 3 minutes, and then again after 60 minutes and no difference). Overall, I'd definitely recommend this if you are looking for either an adjustable power supply, or if you are looking for a budget option because this is definitely cheaper than buying an OEM replacement.
