This sliding glass door lock worked well at first. It was easy to install and use, and it’s very lightweight. However, after several weeks of use on a high traffic door, it broke. It started making noise at the joint, then developed cracks until it eventually split. I think this would last longer if used on a low traffic door rather than one that’s opened and closed frequently.
