The plugs are sooooo much easier to set up than the bulbs using Alexa. I recently set up the bulbs in different lamps. They worked for a while, then were unresponsive. It is difficult to set them up again, so I tried the plugs. It was easy to set them up and I have had no problems with them being unresponsive. Thank you!!

I’m so impressed with the quality of these smart plugs! They’re super easy to set up using the TP-Link App, and they also work seamlessly with the Apple Home application. It’s like magic! I highly recommend them for anyone looking to automate their home lights. They’re a game-changer!

Like all technology, it isn’t 100% all the time. Setup was easy and connected to my Alexa device. Unfortunately it disconnected without me knowing. Luckily I was home and was able to reset it, but it was unfortunately a wake up call that this could happen while I’m traveling. I like to use the smart plug to turn the lights on and off remotely for various reasons. Reliability is key, so I gave it 4 stars. Convenience, ease of use, setup, and cost are all great.

Overall, I love these. I use them for the lights over my plants, and lights in our living room (because there's no light switch in the room). I've had no issues setting these up in the past, but for some reason lately, anytime I try to add one, it refuses to connect to wifi until I go into my router's setting and change our 2.4Ghz network's channel. After that, it connects almost instantly. I want to knock a star off for that, but it's possible that's an issue with our router, not these plugs.The Tapo app is really easy to use, and makes it simple to set the plugs on a schedule. You can choose either set times to turn the plugs on and off, or go based off sunrise and sunset. It's also easy to set up a routine so multiple plugs turn on/off at the same time (this is what we do for out living room). This can also be done in the Google Home app, but I like the interface through the Tapo app better. Will definitely be buying more of these or other Tapo products!

So far, these have worked flawlessly with zero glitches. I keep coming up with new uses like using one on a portable AC in the bedroom. No fumbling for the remote in the dark, just tell Alexa to turn on the air. They’re great for turning off Christmas tree lights without digging behind the tree every night to pull the plug. They’re also great if you have something like a smart tv that occasionally locks up and needs a hard reboot. Forget unplugging it or flipping the breaker, just reboot with a smart plug.

I only had minor problems getting them to work. Now that they are all set up - I love them. Going to bed is so much easier than it used to be.

I bought a dozen or so of these in April 2023. They work great! I use them not only for lamps, phone chargers, but since they're 1800w, for my water distiller, portable heater and A/C. They connect easily. You can set up specific on and off schedules, set timers, and you can even set them up to turn off after a set time. I love them, except...I've had three of them quit working in the year and a half. As you can see in videos others have posted, they begin "clicking" repeatedly and go "offline". I suspect it's the coil in the relay shorting out.

I actually ordered this product from the US site, which is $20 cheaper even including the $9 import fee. But Aamazon couldn't deliver for unknown reason. So I ordered it from the CA site and it arrived the next day. Well, a little pricey. I already own 2 TP Link Tapo Cam and 1 older generation plug. So, set up is easy for me. Just took a while to find out its model name is P125M. After searching for Wifi and entering the password, the plug was already set up. The mandatory firmware update, took 2 minutes to complete. Not bad. One star off because its fat body design blocks 3 sockets!!

Es una chulada, me sirvió para poder apagar y prender un compresor de manera remota. Me encantó. Super recomendable, OJO, vean de cuántos Amperes es su equipo, el mío es de 13A.

No tuve problemas para sincronizar los conectores a mi teléfono, ni a mi sistema alexa. Recomiendo primero darlos de alta en la app de tapo y pasarlos después a alexa.

Si quieren compatibilidad en múltiples ecosistemas busquen comprar que tenga compatibilidad Matter.Puedo controlar mis dispositivos sin problema con ecosistemas Apple y Samsung.Un producto muy recomendado para su costo si quieren tener un lugar más inteligente.Tapo es garantía
