This product works great -- as long as you understand its limitations
Powering my laptop for hours was a challenge, because I work out of my personal vehicle, where I can sometimes have long waits between calls. Leaving the vehicle running or the ignition on accessory mode is not an option, so I decided to try this item out, since I already have a set of Dewalt 20v batteries.Using an inexpensive wattage meter (found on Amazon), I discovered that my laptop only draws between 5 - 25 watts of power (well under the limit of this inverter), allowing me to power my laptop for approximately 5 hours on a 5ah battery, and even longer on my 8ah batteries. The inverter informs me with beeps and by shutting off when the battery is to low (protecting the battery), upon which I can either swap batteries, or just complete my experience using the laptop battery (which at this point is still fully charged). The built-in light is also super-bright and convenient, and look forward to taking this thing camping. I also power other things using this inverter, but recommend before plugging in a new device to always check the power draw first, using an inexpensive wattage meter, to ensure power draw stays below 220 watts.

High output. Slightly noisy fan.
Good value, comparing price to the Milwaukee Top-Off. I have not pushed the output to the max yet. The fan is a hair noisy so if you’re using this in a quiet environment (outdoor movie) it wouldn’t be completely silent.

great value for the money and very reliable.
I have used my inverter on several back country trips in harsh conditions and found it to function as advertised recharging devices, powering an 8 wat 40 watt equiv light bulb without much power loss through the inverter. the built in light works well also.

Disappointing Performance – Not Reliable for Emergencies. Update-Great customer service and support.
Update 05/08/2025, customer service reached out and was very helpful with this product, would definitely be comfortable purchase and recommending this company to friends and family for future purchases.I purchased the 220W Power Inverter Compatible with Milwaukee 18V Battery Inverter DC 18V to AC 110V Portable Power Station Generator by Kzreect to use as a backup during power outages. Unfortunately, after using it for the first time, I found it to be more of a novelty than a practical solution.I used a fully charged genuine Milwaukee M18 battery, and the inverter managed to power an iPhone and an iPad for less than two hours before it completely shut down. The cooling fan never turned on, and there were no signs of overheating or overload — it just stopped working. The unit displayed no lights, and pressing the power and light buttons had no effect. I even tried removing and reinstalling the battery, but it remained unresponsive.Since it failed during its first real test and is now outside the return window, it’s a costly lesson learned. I would not recommend relying on this device for emergency use.
