Wonderful! Hair can tangle as any fine hair would. But there is lots of it and it detangles well! The hair is thick and easy to work with. I love that it can attach to a table. I got this for my 7 year old who is learning to braid and do hair. It’s been a great purchase. MUCH better than a large barbie hair head.

Bought this traininghead for my daughter to practice cornrows and single braids. Pros: Decent amount of hair. Nice and long. Sturdy Mannequin clip/stand which can also be adjusted like a real human head once in place. Cons: Mannequin head is child like small. Not an adult sized head. Not great for practicing parting. Even with a rat tail comb. Sheds mildly even when being very careful combing it from tip to roots. Texture resembles straight almost silky yaky braiding extension hair. We were expecting a little more course texture. Overall: If you are a beginner braider looking for an inexpensive Mannequin head doll to practice cornrows and single braids this is it. If you are looking to perfect your craft... Keep looking. This is not for you.

Overall, it is nice hair to practice style, and braids, or a trim. But will not hold a curl with low or high heat wand. I was trying to find one that will.

Bought for my daughter as an alternative to the plastic flimsy styling head toys. Great product for value. Someone suggested that you brush it out really well before using it and I am glad we did. The colors are really vibrant and pretty. Hair is a nice texture and not super thin. I also purchased a kit separately that had styling combs and accessories to go with this. It made a great Christmas gift.
