It is very good for finger practice. The book is very good quality with clear prints and notes. It is for intermidiated to advanced level and not for beginner.

These are great books. Very useful.

This books makes your fingers work really hard. It is for the advanced player ie If you have got Grade 5 practical it would be good for strengthening your fingers so that you can cope with the more challenging pieces of the higher grades.

These exercises are pretty much performance pieces in their own right. They are fiendishly difficult if you're like me and can't reach 10ths. Great to make the tiny handed amongst us suicidal! I play at licentiate, professional level but just had to admit that my genes were conspiring against me! About 1/3 were playable for me without 'rolling the 10ths' which defeats the object.

Does the job, for intermediate to advanced pianists. 50 exercises altogether. Good luck!

Ottimo libro per studiare pianoforte, ottenere agilità, velocità, flessibilità... Avanzato, richiede un certo livello pianistico. Se si è alle prime armi, escluderlo tassativamente: meglio passare prima da parte della raccolta Czernyana di Longo. Colpisce inoltre la musicalità di diversi esercizi, a differenza di quanto ci si aspetti da Czerny. L'oggetto in sé è in lingua inglese, aspetto riscontrabile nelle immagini, anche se, di parole ci sono solo quelle nei titoli degli esercizi... Arrivato in anticipo e ad un ottimo prezzo.

No es una edición excepcional, pero es perfectamente válida. La calidad de impresión es aceptable y la de encuadernación bastante justa. Con el paso del tiempo observaré su desgaste.

Not just a finger exercise book. The pieces are musical as well. My kids just enjoy playing them for finger exercise. Very different from the Hanon books they played before, which sometimes they felt bored about. I would recommend this book to all the kids who love the piano.

For lovers of music scores, this is a very bad print of the original, with page numbers and the numbers of the pieces on top of each other, lines that are unclear and blurry, paper is glaring white among reading the music strenuous to the eyes, and the book will not stay open even if you try. Any printer at home will be able to do a better job! It is very sad that this quality is being sold by Schirmer.
