Dino obsessed
My son wanted a “robot Dino with a remote and lasers that shoot things” for Christmas, and not only did this fit the bill but has lots of cool features that my husband likes to play with too.

Endless Fun!
My kiddos and husband have loved playing with this remote control dinosaur. It is not a simple go forward and backward toy, the remote control gives you so many options for commands. First the fact that it is rechargeable (with included charge cable) is the best idea ever! Makes this the perfect gift because you do not have to remember to get batteries to go with this toy. The foam darts are pretty fun and the kids think its hilarious that it can walk and shoot the darts at the same time. It can dance, sing, and makes realistic dinosaur sounds.

Huge Fun! Awesome toy for hours, they wont want to stop playing with it.
The media could not be loaded. This is so much fun for the kids and grand kids. My grandkids are 3-4 and my youngest is 7. They all love it, and even our 13 year old son asked to play with it.Pros: battery last a super long time, much longer than most of their smaller rechargeable toys. It has a build in battery, and recharges fairly quickly. That’s nice, because I have enough toys that need AA already, having a recharging larger toy is going to save me a fortune. The transmitter does take two AA, but transmitters usually last months and don’t burn through batteries quickly. It has lots of options for moves on the controller, and the dance mode is great for my little girl who loves it. One side of the controller “walks” the Dino, the other side drives it on wheels for faster movement.Cons: not much to complain about, but there is some issues with the darts on occasion. The darts can jam up, and if your kid tries to fire a second time when it’s jammed it will really jam up and do some damage to the dart. It’s to hard for a small kid to get it out when it’s jammed. I think there is a sweet spot for loading the darts that will prevent the jamming, it’s just about an 1/8”-1/4” from all the way in. If you push the dart in flush to the top that’s usually good, but if your kid uses a finger to push the dart all the way to the bottom it jams every so often. The only other issues is that the Dino can struggle to perform certain movements on carpet and rugs, but overall it’s two really minor complaints. This is certainly a 5 star toy. The minor issues are not bad enough to justify a 4 star for such a great toy that the kids love so much. And it only took my 7 year old a few times to figure out how to load so it won’t jam. What she does now is put the darts in most of the way in, turn the dart magazine upside down, and pushes all the darts in on a flat surface. This way the darts are loaded flush to the magazine, but don’t go too far in as to cause a jam. I hope that is helpful.

Fun Toy
Lots of different buttons for different actions but some are just doubled up with a slight variation. Works on hard floors well but can't move over rugs or carpet. This Dinasaur Robot would make a great toy for any kid that like reptiles. Has a solid body with little weight. Shoots nerf bullets pretty accurately eyes light up and snaps mouth. Roars and growls even play music and as an added bonus it farts lol. Control looks a bit overwhelming (29 buttons) but after a few tries it becomes easy to operate. Pretty solid toy dropped it twice from about a foot and it didn't break or crack. Looks cool just standing there. Does have a programing feature that allows you to set up as many as 50 moves to do on its own. For example, you can get it to take 10 steps turn right and fire at you target (sibling sitting there). Pretty fun toy dinosaur. Other than limit on floor where you can walk or operate it on, I see no issues with this toy. Forgot it has an interaction button that when pressed it every time you pet or stroke its head it moves, wags tail, chirps and pretty much goes through all the actions each time you pet it.

Dino-mite! A Skeptical Dad's Review of the Ruko Robot Dinosaur
Alright, I'll admit it. When my 10-year-old daughter begged for this Ruko Robot Dinosaur, I rolled my eyes. Another plastic toy destined for the dusty corner of forgotten playthings? But hey, she'd been doing great in school, and who am I to deny a little dino-mania?This thing arrived in a box that looked like it held a miniature Jurassic Park resident. My daughter practically ripped it open, and I have to say, even I was a bit impressed. This wasn't some cheap, flimsy dinosaur; it had some heft to it, and the detail wasn't bad. The LED eyes that lit up were a cool touch. But the real test was in the performance. This Ruko dinosaur doesn't just stand there; it walks, dances (sort of), and even sings. My daughter was mesmerized. She spent hours programming it to do different routines, and the remote control was surprisingly responsive. Now, here's the thing. It's loud. Like, really loud. The roaring and singing got old pretty fast, especially when it was 6:00 AM on a Saturday. And the "touching" feature, where it reacts to your touch, was a bit hit-or-miss. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.But here's the bottom line: my daughter loved it. She played with it for days on end, and it even sparked her interest in learning more about dinosaurs. For that alone, I can't complain too much. The Ruko Robot Dinosaur isn't perfect, but it's a fun, engaging toy that kept my kid entertained. And as a dad, sometimes that's all that matters. Just be prepared for a little prehistoric noise pollution.
