Bringing Structure Back to Slouchy Caps
I’m someone who wears hats almost every day, indoors and out. After a while, they just don’t hold their shape. They get a little limp, start looking tired, and sometimes pick up a bit of odor from sweat. I’ve tried various tricks to revive them, like stuffing them with towels or drying them on a bottle, but it never really worked. I’ve now used it on four caps—two newer and two older. The newer ones came out basically looking store-bought again. The older ones? Still not new, but way better than before. You can actually tell they’ve been cleaned and reshaped. The auto mode is my go-to since it handles everything in one shot. If I’m in a rush, I’ll use just the steam or just the drying. It’s flexible like that.

Useful for Any Hat Collector
I’ve been collecting hats for years—snapbacks, dad caps, vintage baseball caps, even some bucket hats. Over time, they either get dusty, lose their shape, or pick up that old fabric odor that’s hard to ignore. The auto mode is my go-to—it handles steaming and drying in one run. You literally press one button and it does its thing, no need to monitor. I tried the longer steam cycle too for a really flattened cap, and it came out crisp without any weird folds. It’s not just for dirty hats—it helps reshape the brim and crown like they were just bought.

Keeps my hats in shape
I just applied this hat shaper to wash two of my baseball hats and it performed well in the washing machine. It keeps the hat in position so the shape is not squashed or bent up while washing. I like that it is simple to open and shut, and it accommodates both of my hats and one of my child's caps with ease without any form of struggle. I washed it on a gentle cycle, and the hats ended up looking clean and still in shape. It's also great for air drying the hats and maintaining their shape, so I've been using it for that as well. Overall, it’s been a useful tool for keeping my caps in like-new shape without the hassle.

Use a test hat first...of course
I lost the shape of one of my favorite hats trying to just dive in. Learn about the difference between steaming/drying etc before you go crazy. Solid product tho, my issues were user error. I just hand clean with water and primarily use this to dry.

Brings Structure Back Without Shrinking
I’ve only used it on three caps so far—two trucker hats and a soft-brimmed one—and it really does help fix creases and bring back structure. The hot air mode works well for quick drying, especially if you’re in a rush. I didn’t have to guess at sizing either since it adjusts to the shape of the hat you put in. You don’t need to be tech-savvy to get it going either. Just add water, choose your mode, and press the button. Hats come out dry, fresh, and shaped like new.

Saves Hats I Thought Were Ruined
I have this favorite cap that got crushed in my bag and ended up looking totally bent out of shape. Didn’t want to toss it, so I gave this machine a try. It took some experimenting with the steam and drying settings, but after one round on the steam and a follow-up with the cool air dry, it actually looked normal again. The smell was gone too—no more stale sweat stink. I used it on a bucket hat afterward just to see how it would do, and it held the shape better than I expected.
