Needed a small shelving unit to hold plates, cups, bowls next to a buffet line. Works great! Added casters so it could be moved for cleaning under.

Always looking for extra storage solutions, we picked this rack up and happy we did. It assembles similar to, and feels quite like a garment rack we also have. Assembly is easy and the adjustable shelves are convenient. It's not the most heavy duty, and if we had gotten the larger size, I might be disappointed, but for the size it does well.

I love Metro shelving common in commercial kitchens and this is perfect for any home. Great size with lots of uses.

In opening the box, I unpacked it and found all the different parts stored in individual bags for shipping. The top and bottom sections of the poles were in their own bag, numbering eight bags total. There were also eight pieces of plastic sleeves, making four of those bags altogether.Each of the four shelves was in its own bag too. This is to make sure that nothing gets scratched during shipping. It worked, as everything looked perfect, and nothing was scratched or dented.After carefully reading the well-written instructions with pictures on how to assemble it safely, I got to work. It took about 75 minutes to assemble the entire unit and level it off using the adjustable feet. The bright white color of this shelving unit looks stylistically perfect in my kitchen and I’m able to store a lot of stuff on it.The trickiest and toughest parts of this assembly were the two parts of the plastic sleeve. Fitting them together was fine but if you didn’t push them together tight enough, they were pushed off their groove on the pole and then pushed downwards when placing the shelving on them. It took a little bit to rework the sleeves when this happened and then fitting them together firmly, I was able to slide the metal shelf over them. It was firmly seated on the sleeves after that.I was initially skeptical as to how well this would work but after doing one shelf after another, I was a little surprised by how firmly those shelves were seated over the sleeves. Nothing would move those shelves off those sleeves, even after loading them up with some heavier kitchen appliances.The product description said each shelf could support up to 500 pounds and while I never tested the maximum weight limit, it did hold all my stuff well on them. After two weeks or so using them, I haven’t had a single problem.When assembling these, it’s important to note that you need to place each shelf on the correct side up. Each shelf has two small black rectangular placards that state the “Professional’s Choice” brand name on them, one on each side of the shelf. If those placards are upside down when assembling, you are doing it wrong. This is also helpful to make sure each shelf is right side up and not upside down when assembling it.Overall, this is a solid, strong and stylish shelving unit that looks great, and is assembled easily.
