I have gotten into lithops and succulents lately and have never kept them alive because I have always put them in potting soil and over watered. I read somewhere that they like very good drainage and everyone suggested this type of medium to add to a little soil -- it works great...they are all flourishing for the first time ever. Great quailty, great size and great value for your money. I will definitely purchase again!

Does the job while looking stylish!

I got the green zeolite, 5lbs option. The dry color is a lot more muted and light than in the photos, though the color does deepen a bit when it gets wet. It doesn't ever quite get a shade of green that I expected, and seems to have some impurities and other rock materials.It probably is zeolite and since this is probably natural rock, batches may vary. I just happen to have received a batch that has a lot more reddish, beige and whiter pieces than green. Some of the pieces are a little pointy and sharp.Not quite what I expected, but still works decently well in my bonsai pots.

My first time propagating succulents. I used this soil and with a lot of time and patience, my succulents have propagated and really grown! I water only once a week and this soil holds moisture as needed. I would order and use this soil again.
