Quality was what i expected-pretty sturdy and thick enough to act as protection with my DIY boxes and cases. A little pricey for the quantity, but not too many manufacturers had this thickness so I'm OK with it.

It's a very heavy felt (which is why I ordered it). I made a table runner to go under a red center piece.

Hard flat surfaces cause problems when trying to dampen sound and get a clear recording. I was building a recording booth, and wanted to minimize the reflected sound from the wooden shelf I created in the booth. I used this felt to cover that shelf and minimize that reflected sound to keep the recordings clear. It is strong enough to be able to use for a long time to come, and thick enough to dampen the sounds.I recommend this thick felt anywhere you need a sturdy felt covering.
