Melissa & Doug Wooden Stamp Set, Favorite Things - 26 Wooden Stamps, 4-Color Stamp Pad

I was a little disappointed in that the stamps are quite small but my 3-1/2 year old granddaughter loves them. They are a good size for little hands and there are a LOT of stamps and cute variety in this set. Only thing is the stamp pad was dry but that is easy enough to replace. Would have also been nice if the wooden storage box had a lid but that is nitpicking. She loves to stamp things and this was a good value for the money and Melissa & Doug toys are durable for the little ones. She has some stamps that are plastic and they are junk - these are nice and will probably outlast her interest in them which is basically what I am looking for.

My 7yr old daughter loves stamps, and is always coming home with those plastic stamps - with the attached ink pad. While she enjoys those stamps, it's always such a dissapointment once the ink runs out, or the cheap plastic breaks. She used to have a nice wooden stamp set when she was little, but it got lost, and I kept putting off getting a new one, due to being extremely picky about the quality. This year I decided that I needed to restart her stamp collection, before she is "too big" to enjoy such simple and fun arts and crafts! After reading review after review, and comparing various stamp sets quality and specs; I decided to purchase this set, and will add more to it. I am very satisfied with the quality of this set, especially for the price. This set is very basic, so it's a great starting point for a stamp collection. The stamps themselves are adequate size (we are very tall people, with long fingers!) These stamps are easy to hold, and the stamped pictures are just the right size to add to pictures, or create an entire scene from the stamps themselves. You also receive 4 colors of ink, which is excellent for the price. -Note; Melissa & Doug ink refills have always been my go-to for the quality of the product. The ink pads tend to outlast those of competitor's, by quite a long while. The stamps show up evenly on paper, and can actually be colored in once they dry (they do not smudge when done correctly, due to the high quality stamp shapes, and the ink itself). If you are looking for quality stamps that will last, then look no further - this set will not disappoint. I will definitely be buying the other Melissa and Doug stamp sets in the future, to add onto our collection!

Nice stamp set .

My two year old loves stamps so I got it for him as a Christmas gift, but I have a couple of complaints. 1- the cute wooden box it comes in doesn’t have a top so you have to find something to store it in. 2- the quality of the ink is terrible I’ll have to buy new ink pad it hardly shows on paper.

My kids love them and can play with them for hours. Sturdy wood, and easy for little hands to use. I also appreciate the ideas on the back for learning opportunities (math, colors, patterns, etc) Clever!

While Melissa and Doug toys are usually good quality and durable, this stamp set arrived and the green stamp pad is completely dry, the red and orange are about half-way dry and the blue is perfect. The stamps are all cute and the description is accurate. Quite disappointed in this purchase but I didn't take it out for my granddaughter to used before the 30 day return policy window ended. Lesson learned.

My 5 year old loves to craft, and do art. After begging to use mommy's special stamps, we bought this set of stamps for her to use on her own. She loves the cute little images, and the set of colorful ink that comes with the stamps. These are easy to use, easy to store, and super fun to use. Easy to clean the stamps too, which was my biggest worry.

The stamps are a bit smaller than I thought but the toddlers have a ball stamping their hands and all over the paper! Well made!!
