Fresh Dog Natural Oatmeal Conditioner for Dry and Itchy Skin, 17-Ounce

I expected so much from this product because of all the positive reviews on Amazon and it turned out almost the worst conditioner I've ever tried.I have a maltipoo male dog and his hair is naturally very silky and soft. On top of that, I love to take care of his hair a lot. I brush his hair everyday and even trim his hair myself. His hair is so silky that it's easy to work without effort. After 1 trial of this product, his hair got extremely dry and matted. Not only that, his hair got a bunch of knots and tangles.. I believe that conditioner is supposed to help you avoid all that. This product literally doesn't do the job. And the scent is not good at all. I don't even know what it smells like. It's just very strong and yucky.I added a picture of my dog's hair after I brushed him.. This never happened before. He lost his hair a lot as you see. I'm going back to Sofee & Co. conditioner, which is the best one so far. What a horrible experience.

My puppy was pretty neglected when I got him. He is a pomeranian, that had very short, corse hair on the back and horrible dandruff. My vet thought it was just dry skin, and perhaps it was. It took me 3-4 months of a really good diet, lots of brushing and several baths to get rid of most of the dandruff (lots of it came off when he shed the undercoat). I finally decided to use this shampoo on him, and one thing for sure, this gave him the softest fur ever! It definitely doesn't irritate his skin, doesn't have much of a scent (it's very subtle, which I think dogs tolerate better), and doesn't foam much, which is ok. Another thing I really liked about it, was that I didn't have to brush him right after I gave him a bath. It was easy to get the tangles out after he air dried (poms having double coat are supposed to brushed before and right after a bath). It will be my go to conditioner from now on.

Used this stuff for the first time today, I love it. It has a strong, aromatherapeutic scent that I actually don't mind, and I'm pretty particular and sensitive when it comes to fragrances in general. My dogs literally smell like 2 little babies. It's so cute.Originally bought it because my little angel was having itchy dry skin problems, and randomly developed dandruff. I used this on her once and her skin was instantly hydrated and her dandruff is completely gone.I will continue to buy this conditioner once the bottle runs out. :)

My Yorkshire Terrier was scratching himself to pulling all of his hair out of himself, something he contracted in Kansas, at a Horse and Cow Ranch my wife works at,and I have tried this product and it makes all of the difference in the world we are extremely happy and a lady who owns a Pet Grooming Business suggested to try your product and it is Fantastic, will continue buying the product in the future.

We have a Miniature Schnauzer who gets a bath at least once a month. I've tried many different types of conditioners for her course/fine fur, and the winner is using a natural product. I refuse to use shampoo and conditioners with all those chemicals on my own scalp, so why would I subject my most beloved child to the effects of those harmful chemicals. Her fur was soooo soft and didn't start to knot-up like other conditioners. Smells really good too.

This is an excellent conditioner. For me it serves a dual purpose. It keeps my dog's wire coat looking and feeling nice, and it helps to keep her skin healthy and therefore reduces dander (which helps my family's allergies). One of the things we always have to watch out for is certain scented products that act as an allergen in itself. This product has a very mild scent that in no way does that. As most pet owners with can attest to, it is really nice to be able to do whatever you want with the pet and it not bother you. Things like this are a must-have for families that want to enjoy their pets.Aside fro that, it is a superb conditioner. As I said, my dog has a wired coat; yet, it feels quite soft after bathing her with this and stays that way until her next bath (barring a roll-around in the mud of course). Sometimes when she's clean, and especially if she goes for a swim in the pool with us, we skip the shampoo and just use this. I doubt I will be purchasing any other conditioner for the foreseeable future.

i got this for my blue pitful who was starting to shed, A LOT. he's a short haired dog, but man, every time he'd sit on my lap he'd leave a tremendous amount of hair, and his skin was starting to dry out and flake, so i decided to try this out. i'm REALLY glad i did! his skin no longer flaked, and stopped shedding by the third wash. the shampoo keeps him smelling nice and clean! i absolutely recommend.

This conditioner makes my dogs hair silky smooth. It is nice and thick so it really spreads easily. It doesn't require my dog to stand there cold and wet to work like it should. The only downside is the strong scent. It smells good but to me very strong. It lingers for about 24 hours for the scent dissipates.
