Used the saw once, for about half an hour, pruning a couple of fruit trees - small branches, the thickest of which being less than 2 inches diameter. The saw failed as shown in the photographs. Dangerous considering that I was using it on the extender pole at the time and only the internal wiring stopped the saw dropping from height. Customer support, so far, is about on par with the quality of the saw. Avoid.

I have been very impressed with this tool. I have used it 3 times to cut back our conifer trees. It cuts through branches up to 2 inches thick like a hot knife through butter. Haven't tried it on anything thicker yet but suspect that it would cope with thicker branches if used carefully.

One of the two batteries supplied was defective, would not take a charge and the power indicator button didn't work. Contacted Amazon who advised to return complete item and re order if I wanted replacement, two days after delivery of original item price had increased by £22.0. Not only inconvenienced by having to return defective item but would have to pay cost penalty to get a replacement. So much for manufacturers claim in instruction booklet that all items tested prior to dispatch.

Hard to know what to expect when you order an "Non-Big Name" make.This thing actually does what it says, let the saw do the work, don't try and force it to cut.Keep that oil bottle handy and keep the chain lubed up and it will cut easily.The battery life is beyond what I expected! Like massively. Trimmed a whole tree down and chopped up the trimmings on less than half of first battery!Shame it doesn't come with a carry case, but i can live with that shortfall.Highly recommended! Great value, does what's needed.

Used once and the neck if the chainsaw broke away from the base. All I did was saw a branch. The saw must have been defective already. I have emailed the seller, but no response. I bought the item at the beginning of December but weather has only been good enough to use it early March. I'm stuck with an expensive piece of kit that is not unusable.

Poor quality. The plastic has snapped on the handheld part at the section where the handle meets the battery holder.I have had the item for less than 2 months however I cannot return due to it being over 30 days.

Have only used once but early days yet.If it performs like the first time I used it I will be very happy.

it runs ok till it comes into contact with wood then it just keeps cutting out, not fit for purpose
