a good workout
I did a lot of research before I bought this item. I am 44 years old, and I homeschool my 5 and 7 year old kids. I have been a regular exerciser since age 18. I used to jog a lot before I developed sciatica problems and had to stop. For a number of years now, I have been doing yoga and using an elliptical machine at the gym, but recent schedule changes have made it increasingly difficult for me to get to the gym. I was looking for an affordable way to work out at home, but I knew that I would need to feel that I was getting a good work out to stay motivated. My main concern before purchasing this was that rebounding would not be challenging enough. Most of the information on the web about rebounding sounded like snake oil, so I was suspicious.I got the cellerciser last week. I was anticipating that it would be difficult to assmeble, and told my kids they would have to occupy themselves for awhile so that I could put it together. In fact, there was NO assembly required. It came out of the box, and all it needed were for the legs and the unit to be unfolded. In less than a minute, I was jumping. It breaks down just as easily. I am leaving it set up most of the time, but if I needed to put it away, the legs fold up, the unit folds in half, and under the couch it goes in about a minute. I do carry it from one room into another so that I can rebound in front of the TV. It's a bit awkward, but not bad enough at all to be a deterrent to using it.I have used it every day since I got it over a week ago. This in spite of the kids, the homeschooling, the part-time work, and the part-time PhD program. And a husband who works outside the home 12 hours a day. This truly is something I can do while the kids play or do schoolwork nearby. I can get up a little early in the morning and do it, and not have to worry about getting home from the gym before my husband has to leave for work. It is easy and convenient enough that I could do it for a little while in the morning, and then again at some later point in the day. Even if it is less efficient than the elliptical (and I am not sure it is less efficient), an exercise that you do every day has got to be better than one you do once or twice a week.In fact, I have found that it can be a very tough workout. I purchased an Urban Rebounding dvd when I ordered the Cellerciser, and I am glad I did. Simply jumping freestyle is not a very intense workout. Moreover, before I received the dvd, I was jumping, and jarred something in my upper spine which was sore for a day or two. The form suggested on the Urban Rebounding dvd has made it possible for me jump without additional injury or pain. Also, the exercises on the dvd are really tough. I am in reasonable shape, not overweight, and pretty active, but I really sweat, and my heart is pounding even on the basic workout. I am looking forward to doing hiit with the rebounder, and the workouts can definitely be intense enough for that. The basic workout is definitely much more intense than doing a slow jog, for example.I have never been on another rebounder, so I have no basis for comparison to other units. The cellerciser seems very sturdy. I didn't at first think that I cared about getting a folding unit, but it does make it easier to store it out of the way, and it is nice to know that I could throw it in the trunk of the car when we go on a family vacation. As other reviewers of similar products have pointed out, it is a plus that the kids can jump too. They enjoy it, and I imagine it will be especially appreciated during the winter when it is harder to get outside.I haven't lost any weight, gotten rid of my cellulite, experienced any miraculous cures to diseases, or gotten rid of wrinkles in the week since I've had it, and perhaps none of that will ever happen. But I do think I have found a way to have a really great, safe cardio workout that I can do every day right from home. I only wish I had found my way to these years ago. This would have been great when the kids were babies!UPDATE: I have had the rebounder for about six weeks and have lost 5 lbs. My body has also changed shape in a good way. My butt is totally toned now! My jeans are literally falling off me. The rebounder is definitely a great workout, although I would again emphasize that for me, the urban rebounder dvds have made the difference. I am certain that doing a tough workout on the rebounder is a better fat burner than 20 minutes on the elliptical at the gym. A lot of reviewers of rebounders talk about how much fun they are. When I am really working on this thing, it isn't fun. It's a tough workout, and I can't wait until it's over. But the results are very motivating!

Best workout device I've had
Dave Hall made a presentation at my school years ago and I had tried the cellerciser, it's been in the back of my head for years. With the pandemic I decided to get a cheaper rebounder from another brand. I almost twisted my ancle with it and would only use it with high heel boots while I tightened my back while doing it since I felt if I wasn't careful I might hurt myself.Moved out of state and left it behind, decided to spend money on the real deal since the cheaper option didn't feel like the test trial I had done with Dave years ago. Good decision. The cellerciser can be used barefoot, which I love doing since it's slightly harder due to the smaller surface of your feet balancing the body. I don't have that tightened core trying to prevent a back injury. With the cellerciser it feels like a total body workout and even my face muscles are sore. In fact my face looks a lot better, tighter and better looking skin, more defined jawline due to the muscles growing. Before buying the cellerciser i was doing about twenty minutes on the cheaper trampoline while jumping rope without a problem, but the cellerciser was hard at first. I couldn't do more than two to five minutes since my calf's were on fire. After four months I could do 15 without stopping, spend more than an hour with short breaks, but it's a hard workout.Overall I feel a lot stronger. Posture is better, weight has been lost, I can see definition in my abs. Just feel overall healthy. I had been struggling to get back in shape for some years now (work full time and got school at night, not a lot of free time) and by mostly using the cellerciser at home I've gone a longs way I wasn't able to do just jumping rope, kettlebell and dumbbells, cheaper rebounder.I also spent about two and a half months just doing the cellerciser since dumbells and kettlebells were out of stock and couldn't purchase a new set, and got in better shape just by jumping on this. I now add strength training and feel like the cellerciser helps me perform better than I've done in a long time. It's worth the extra money when compared with other products. The fact it's working out your face muscles alone should be a big selling point since I can't think of another way to do with without weird bitting techniques that can hurt your jaw or face movements that will probably cause wrinkles. Again: I've been jumping rope and other products plus used to be very active and never experienced my face muscles being sore. But you'll probably not experience this at first, I really feel it if I'm doing ten minutes or more, just took me several weeks to build up to.I went though a loop where once my leg muscles became stronger and could jump more, my core muscles (abs and specially back) felt the burn and were the coause for me taking a break. Once those became stronger and could perform longer the burden went back to the legs and so forth.Sometimes the face muscles were what felt most worked out. But as you build insurance your body gets used to it.The rebounder supposedly also works out your fast twitch muscles which can only be achieved is working out very fast or very heavy, which was a big factor for the purchase, since not only does it builds strength but improves mitochondrial function, which might be one reason I can last so much longer now.

Worth the Investment!!!
I did lots of research to figure out which mini-trampoline/rebounder was best for me and came upon the Cellerciser. What a great piece of equipment!!! I had a very cheap mini-trampoline/rebounder that was very poorly made: springs kept breaking, seams were poorly sewn, and it was very, very noisy. I thought it was okay until I tried the Cellerciser. I try to do things on a budget but decided it was worth it to spend the money on the Cellerciser. I have not been disappointed. The Cellerciser has a better feel and bounce to it, it is more stable, it is very quiet, and overall I feel better after I use it. I think that the spring design must be the reason for the great results. I'm feeling better physically and my outlook is more positive. I think I will contact the company itself because I am so impressed with the Cellerciser. I think that the investment of a few hundred dollars now could save me thousands of dollars in the future.
