Perfect for 20s Themed Party
Husband was pleasantly surprised by this prop! It did the trick for bringing the whole outfit together!

Smaller than advertised, doesn't look the same as in the pictures
This is advertised as being 30" long, but it is 25" long fully assembled. The bullets do not stick out the tip of the shells & cannot be loaded into the magazine with the tips protruding; they must be completely shoved into the casings. The orange tip is not attached/permanent. It does come with a generous amount of bullets and it shoots them hard. The shell ejecting mechanism works. The magazines stick in the gun and are very difficult to remove as the release catch frequently simply doesn't work. I will probably return this.

Love the realistic shell action, impractical for LARP
I got the silver model of this dart booster to test whether it would be a good fit for a live action role playing game I want to run.The scope is an extremely cool prop. Most blaster scopes are purely decorative, this one has some real utility and it lights up and looks cool which always adds to your costuming at an event.Removable orange tip makes it easy to paint the toy without violating any laws, though the default look is fine for just about any setting with shotguns. The first thing to note is that the foam darts are very small and non standard. I knew they were shorter than mainstream foam darts, but they are also extremely small in every dimension. That means you can't simply chop down the darts of other manufacturers to make them fit in this toy. You need to buy them from this manufacturer. That makes them less useful for running a LARP, because the ammunition is not ubiquitous and would be hard to replace and keep in stock.Next up is the dart tips: The plastic tips are rubbery but hard in a way that presents a potential safety hazard if fired into the eyes, primarily because the small size does not distribute force over a large surface area. As such, the ammunition isn't exactly up to the standards of larp play though it is perfectly safe for general use (i would recommend eye wear for protection with all foam dart blasters). It comes with lots of extra bullets and shells, more than fit in the clips, which is good because you'll lose some every time you use it. Shells are easier to track than the darts, though bright colors on the darts help. Finally the shell action, which IS really cool and works well and is exactly what I ordered this for, is fantastic. The clips work great the shells eject spectacularly. The only problem is having to chase down both the shells AND the darts after running out of shots. Honestly worth it, though. That kind of inefficiency can be very fun. I only wish it came with more clips so I could reload faster. It is very fun to get two and have shoot outs in the house. The darts for this blaster are made of closed cell cross linked polyfoam, which differ from standard closed cell polyfoam darts in terms of material density. It's the same foam used in foam floor mats, so you could theoretically construct more darts out of that but the quality wouldn't be great. I tried to cut some from leftover material, I'd suggest buying the real thing rather than make your own.I rated it high for how fun it is to play with, which makes up a bit for the fact I won't likely be using it at my event.

Cheap little toy shotgun
This isn't the best quality dart shooter out there but it's not the worst either. Easily assembled. It feels a little small and fragile but it's probably meant for smaller hands than mine (which is good, because I intend to regift it to my nephew when he's old enough to not swallow the darts). Speaking of which, the darts themselves are pretty small and nest in the faux ejecting shells. Lose those, and you're done playing.
