Arrived today. Sealed all 3 joints with PTFE and LSX silicone sealant. Left it a few hours and as soon as the tap was turned on, skoosh......soaked from several leaks. Will add an extra washer to tap connection tomorrow, and if the same, then will be sending it back. If it works, I`ll edit the review. EDITED 29/8/23: Added an extra washer to the tap end connector and that was enough to seal it. No more leaks. Good and sturdy kit and now works perfectly.

This 2-way hose tap looks well made and sturdy. The device was easy to fit onto a standard UK bib tap. However, at first try, it had a leak from one of the hose connectors. This just required a slight more tightening by hand to seal the joint. The splitter comes complete with 2 male hose connectors and an assortment of adapters and rubber washers to suit a variety of taps. Used once so only time will tell if it will last.

This is the second one I've bought and both failed within a couple of weeks. A metal nozzle comes apart from the main body and water gushes out.

This is better than other plastic ones i have tried which have split in cold weather. I brought this as my tap is at the front of my house and I can run a hose to the garden and can leave it on without needing to keep turning the main tap on and off, and I can still connect a second hose at the front to wash my car and water the front garden. The only downside is that it spins round so doesn't stay straight. But this is minor and cosmetic. Very easy to install and comes with a few adapters. Even held out well when it was icy as it didn't crack. Good job.

Hose splitter arrived in a small cardboard box inside a cardboard envelope. All recyclable so top marks there. The box contained everything I needed e.g. 1 hose splitter, 3 rubber washers, 2 screw on hose quick connectors and 1 tap thread converter. Some purchasers show the item broken with one of the outlet pipes separated from the main body. It appears changes have been made to the product (as described in one of the vendors product images), and on my version each outlet appears to have three fixings attaching each outlet to the main hose splitter body. The product feels solid, well made and appears well thought out. The on/off tap levers were a bit stiff to operate initially but after a few uses now work smoothly. Fitting was easy. I inserted two of the supplied washers into the tap screw attachment and then firmly screwed the splitter into my garden tap until there was no wobble between the screw attachment and hose splitter body. I then tested the unit by closing the two outlets and turning on the garden tap to full. No leaks whatsoever. I suspect some people suffered leaks because they did not use extra rubber washers or screw the fixing tightly enough to the tap to avoid wobble. Although I didn't use any plumbers PTFE tape this would be a useful addition to the product for people whose tap screws maybe non-UK standard or not within tolerance. In terms of value for money, the product is more expensive than some but feels more premium than some of the big name plastic alternatives on the market. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase thanks to the quality feel, ease of fitting and having no leaks! I plan to remove the hose splitter over the winter months to avoid the worst of the weather and re-fit in Spring each year. Hopefully this will ensure longevity of the product, but will update this review if this is not the case.

Chosen because of many good reviews and sturdy construction. On /off taps for individual taps work well. Connection to outside tap not leakproof. Made sure washer was properly seated and fixing screwed tight, still a significant leak. Used white plumb tape to bind thread on outside tap, now virtually leak free. Outside tap had worked leak free with previous plastic hose splitters.
