I have been planting now for 6years. The was not what I expected. The seedlings grew but planting them with the sponge they all died. I don't like the fact I will always have purchase new sponges.

Simple and works well enough. I do wish there was a way to set an internal clock so that you could decide when the light was on with a timer. Instead you have to time when you turn it on to have the light when you want it. Because of this if it gets unplugged or turned off for any reason it’s hard to know how many hours of light it will end up getting. The programming for this planter is very simple and there are very few options, but it works.

I bought two of these units and my only regret is not buying more. I am currently growing cucumbers in one and tomatoes in the other. I absolutely love these because the light goes up to 30 inches which allows you to grow these taller plants. I just wish I had bought more.

(01/10/2024) Purchased the Hdroor Hydroponics Growing System (15 pods) for the wife for Christmas. Setting up the "Garden" was quite easy- instructions were thorough. The app downloaded without a hitch to the IPhone. The app itself is very easy to understand and allows you to set the on/off times, light intensity (depending on type of plants), and provides a low water alarm to your phone and to the "garden" itself. I expected this to be difficult to set up, but definitely was not.** A tip: If you have cats (like we do) consider getting a "grow tent" to cover the "garden".

It looks like a good hydroponic system but I tried to ask the company how to get parts in the future. And I can't get a response back from them. This seems to be a bad sign for future problems. There is no website only a email address.

Great unit. Has super phone app that controls lighting at a touch. Love that its 15 pods. Comes complete with water additives, pods and grow inserts although they don't seem to explain that well on the description. Nice surprise to get these included. Follow instructions to soak grow pods before seeding and to add the right additives supplied to the water. Basil showed above the pod tops after only a week. Nicely made with a light that has adjustable height. Very pleased!
