Ansmann Agent Mini Torch

I'm a seafarer and need a reliable red torch for night work. I own an LED Lenser but bought the ANSMANN because of the filters. The torch is OK. It is well built but lacks the quality of the LED Lenser. The best part is the remote switch which is very well made and effective. The filters are good but push on, I would have preferred screwfit. I'm sure this will do the job but with a little more effort, the company could have turned out a great product.

I bought this Ansmann Agent 1 torch because of the design and that it can be put in the pocket for emergency such as self defence, it is great to know that you have the Ansmann Agent 1 torch with you and that you will be able to find your dog in the dark hours. Torch's are good to have with you at all times, say for instance you dropped your car keys and you did not know where they were so you have the torch for this as well to find your procession's if lost and for search and rescue.This is the best torch to have and I give it 10/10 for design and brightness.

I purchased this holster to house a HexBright FLEX torch. It fits the torch but only just, a few millimetres wider or taller and it would not be suitable. If you look at the pic of the holster, when the HexBright FLEX is in it and the velcro flap is closed over it, the Ansmann logo is lined up just above the lip of the holster where the torch goes in. Enough velcro makes contact to keep it secure, but only just. Overall I am happy with this product especially for the price and considering there isnt much out there that is advertised as HexBright compatible.

Do not buy, not robust, belt loop broke within a month

It is good to have on your belt for self defence tactics because you never know when a situation arises the Ansemann Agent Torch Bag comes in black and the belt strap is very strong. We often go camping and therefore I was looking for a flashlight, which is rugged on one hand and on the other hand easy to handle.

I already had an Agent 5 torch and saw this one. More compact to carry and excellent LEDs. Unbelievably bright, seems to go for miles!
