Pros:1.Very crip clear day picture, same with the night vision.2. Take pictures and video from your phone and save to your photos.3. Started from the app the first time. Very easy setup.4. 5 pre-set positions options for the camera.5. Tap the screen and the upper bar give you the preset positions, the lower bar gives you the icons that allow for video, picture and mic. etc.6. Very helpful and responsive customer service.Cons:1.The app is not found under the name you are given in the quick start guide. You get a tide spin app.2. You must download a 2D bar code reader app. The guide tells you this 1st, but gives you a name to look it up under in case you don’t want to download the barcode reader app.3. App has a few issues but customer service is helpful.4. The camera voice that talks you through setup is extremely loud and cannot be turned down. If you are using this as a baby monitor and the camera losses connectivity with WiFi in the middle of the night and won’t reconnect from the app, you must remove it for a complete restart because the volume will wake your child.5. As with most, your WiFi password must only contain numbers and letters, no special characters. It also must be 16 digits/characters or less.

If it were an option I’d give no stars. DO NOT BUY. There is no such app and it does not work. It’ll tell you to got to the website for more trouble shooting along with instructions like it’s expected... bc it is. And the website does not exist. There r false reviews on here if said otherwise. I tried from iPhone android Alexa universal. NO SUCH APP OR SITE

Unlike others I had problems getting mine set up to notify me when movement was detected. I thought I'd take a chance and click on the chat icon on the ObservEye site to get some help. I literally spent 2 hours with Matt trying to get things ironed out. I can't say enough good things about the service he provided, top notch and wouldn't give up until we had the issues resolved.I find the video quality and daytime colors excellent, the night time quality is just OK. The night LED's are visible to the naked eye at night so it kind of gives the camera away if you're looking for a stealthy installation.The software doesn't allow you to delete videos from your phone so I have a ton of them on the card. I've yet to see if I can put the card in my computer and delete them.I have this installed on an iPhone 7 and it works well, it also works on my 5S but not nearly as well.Again, if you have a problem the customer support is absolutely over the top.

Not entirely empressed with this camera, it has its good and bass. The camera it’s self if good quality. How ever the operating system / app is horrible! It’s a pain to setup & almost impossible to setup a second time. As the camera ages it seems to pile up more & more connection issues.

bought two of these cameras and was able to hook them up easily. They worked right out of the box, You just need to download the observeye phone app and follow the voice prompt after powering up the camera and voila the cameras got connected to the wifi network. The whole set up process took me less than 5 minutes. The image quality is really good and I love the ability to speak through the camera and move the camera around from my phone when I am outside the home. The camera will detect any motion in the range and send notifications to my phone. I also needed them to work in my laptop and had to call the observeye support line for help. They logged into my computer and set up the surveillance software, now I can watch the camera from both my phone and from my laptop. I really love using them as "pet cams" to keep an eye on my dogs while I am away.

I expected the set up to be difficult but it was a breeze. was able to go online in less than 10 minutes. I’m very pleased with the camera and the observeye phone application, just followed the instructions and was able to get the camera working both in my phone and computer. It’s truly 1080P amazing picture quality, there is no issue switching between day and night vision mode. The PTZ works great without any lag and I can see my entire home with this camera. The motion alert notifications come quickly when it is triggered. I can also talk with my dog when am away from my home. I think I will buy one for my business too.

I noticed there are few reviews from 2019, there is a reason. My guess is the company was bought out, just speculation. The motion alerts don’t work anymore. Customer support told me to use a different app????? Why would that be? A motion detection push is not rocket science, so why doesn’t it work anymore. Customer support gave me no support, and no answers. Buy at your own risk.I’m an electronic technician and install cameras on the side. This is the only camera I’ve had problems with. It’s a shame because I liked them before. I have four in my house, but I will be replacing them.

i use them as baby monitors so that i can both watch my baby at work and at home .the picture quality is so impressive crystal clear 1080p and is so fast and no lagging . downloading the app took only a moment and worked properly on iphone 7 connecting the camera to the wifi network took only a minute or two by following the instructions within 2 minutes we had an HD picture of the area in the iphone i have mine set to my email for alerts and also to record to the sd card i would rate the support 5 stars they are very helpful and they work on weekends too my foscam experiences have been poor my experiences after i week with OCLI, ARE ALL POSITIVE
