Discovering coffee from Panama
The Panama Boquete Coffee Beans (5 lbs), Medium-Dark Roast are a true delight for coffee lovers. Grown in the highlands of Boquete, Panama, these beans deliver a rich, smooth flavor with a perfect balance between boldness and refinement. The medium/dark roast brings out deep chocolate notes with a subtle sweetness and low acidity, making every cup satisfying and easy to drink. The aroma is warm and inviting, and the freshness of the beans is evident from the first grind. The value of this coffee is worth it. Highly recommended for those who appreciate variety of coffee with authentic Panamanian character ☕️

Really good, just like gold!
Took awhile to get to me and frankly, didn’t know what to expect. I’m used to drinking Sumatran coffee, which uses a “wet hull” processing. Not sure what exactly it entails but almost every brand of Sumatran I’ve tried was decent. However, I wanted to find an adequate replacement should the cost for the Sumatran continue to go up and what seems like less production. I ordered this based solely on the region it came from. The ratings were helpful but a lot of the ratings don’t go into much detail and everyone’s palate is different, so for the price, why not. Plus I liked how the bag looked. I waited a little over a month for this to arrive but when I opened it, it was fresh, so no biggie. My first taste of this after grinding the beans and brewing in my basic Mr.Coffee coffee maker, I was pleasantly surprised. It was very tasty, smelled delicious, and started my mornings nicely. I drink my coffee black so I’m definitely picky when it comes to coffee. This one has a smooth flavor, not bitter at all, and keeps me energized like the Sumatran. The value was also a good one, with a pot of coffee costing me the equivalent of one Starbucks coffee, maybe less. I just wish Amazon would bring the 5# bag in more frequently. Ordering directly from their website adds on additional costs for shipping, which Amazon doesn’t have as a Prime member. I will definitely order more of this brand, especially when the 5# bags are back in stock. I’d definitely love to try their Sumatran! It’s probably Good as Gold!

Good coffee but a bit acidic
I like different coffees but Sumatran coffees are my favorite. Nothing like that earth flavor with no acidic tinge. It’s the soil that gives the bean that flavor. I started buying this brand about a year ago and have been through three five pound bags over that time. The first and second bags were amazing and this brand is priced low enough that I didn’t expect that so I have been eager to keep buying it. But the third bag has changed some. Still decent coffee but it feels like a blend now because I am detecting an acid to it which should not be there. I would just like to express to the company a plea to keep the coffee as it was. Increase the price a touch if that is what it takes to keep it pure. In that state, it amazingly great coffee.

This one is delicious!
I really love Nicaraguan coffee. I buy a lot of different brands. This one is delicious! I hate to get up in the morning, I like to sleep longer ... but this coffee makes my morning more colorful and it doesn’t seem terrible anymore because of the early start, I wake up!

No fake flavor taste.
A lot of other flavored coffees have a weird/fake flavor taste. Almost like an afterthought. This company's coffee is different. I've tried a couple flavors so far and love snickerdoodle the best. This coffee reminds me of when I lived in an area with local roasters that roasted small batches of coffee, including flavored coffee. I actually added this coffee to my Amazon subscription. I also plan to try several of their other flavors too. I will admit that I tried the Irish cream flavor too. It was good, but not as flavorful as the snickerdoodle flavor. It might also be because I probably would have preferred to just put Irish cream in the coffee instead of having flavored that way. Now that I think about it, I might have to order it again and try it with Irish cream too. That combination might be a winner. For now, I'll be happy with my snickerdoodle flavored coffee.

Drinkable, but disappointing and burned taste.
I tried the Good as Gold coffee after a combination of steady price increases and spotty availability of my old "go to" from Coffee Masters. The Good as Gold offering isn't bad, in that it's not a cup of coffee I would refuse to drink and is not something I would return if it is what I got after ordering coffee when I was out, but it is a far cry from the awesome experience that I have become used to from Coffee Masters. All in all, the coffee is OK, it tastes a little burned, even when brewed a few different ways (French press, drip pot, and a perk pot). The flavored aspect of the coffee is very subtle, it definitely leaves me wanting more "Snickerdoodle" and less "burned coffee beans" flavor. I won't be throwing this away, but I also won't be buying these again. This will certainly make a drinkable pot of coffee, but if you're looking for something for part of your morning ritual, this isn't the right choice to make that an awesome experience.
