Love love love love love this book.

I first bought this book years ago, and it starting me on a life-changing path. To make a long story short, I was inspired by the book to attend a seminar by Karen Kingston, in which she gave detailed instructions on how to perform a Space Clearing (the book is a great guide, but she is a great speaker too!). Until the seminar, I didn't have the confidence to actually DO a Space Clearing on my own, even though I had previous happy results when I used several techniques in the book. After the seminar I did a Space Clearing in my home. Within 2 weeks everything in my life started to change dramatically, not all in a pleasant way, but definitely for the better. Amazing. When it comes to Space Clearing, I trust how things "feel" rather than trying to intellectualize them; I can feel the difference in a room after a Space Clearing. So, bottom line is I think the techniques work, that anyone can do it with practice, and so Karen has made a real contribution to the world by writing about her craft. I love this book and have purchased many copies to gift to friends. I also like Denise Linn's books (especially Sacred Space) and find them valuable, but I think that Karen's writing and style is the more accessible of the two authors.

This is a great book, it does offer interesting insight into aspects of feng shui that are not discussed in other feng shui books. It is also well written, it feels like a journey at the end of which you find yourself uplifted, in much better spirits and with a different view of even common things.What's also nice about it is that is simple and clear, easy to understand and easy to implement. The elements presented though are not superficial.And it doesn't fill you with all kind of knick-knack tricks you have to do to achieve certain results but rather it gives a more generous and bigger picture. It has a sacred approach to the subject rather than a commercial one!The only problem it leaves you with is that it presents some things different than in other books, so at the end you ask yourself which one should you follow. I guess it's just an open gate to experiment yourself and conclude.But overall, an interesting and uplifting book, not to miss.

What a powerful, simply written little book! Having long been a student of spiritual things, first devout Christianity, then a broader embrace of the subtlety of grace, I thought nothing would astound me, but this book is brilliant. It is not about the technical instruction for 'space clearing' which certainly is a big part of this book, but it is about opening your eyes to the spiritual in everything in your life. In my own life, the energy surrounding me had been dark and depressing for some months. I found this book on a wild google chase, read it in two days, and it literally transformed me and everything around me. It was an energy issue that had very much to do with my house, my space, my head. This book is more than Feng Shui and certainly more intuitive and more accessible information than most other analytical books on the art. It is simply written without pretense, and incorporates Karen's obvious knowledge of who and what God is. Amazing.

an amazing read -- it has some pictures in it as well that give a visual description. It is easy to read, packed with information, this book has influenced the way i clean and create my spaces.

This helped me push a lot of STUFF out of my house and life. Just because it was a gift doesn't mean I have to keep it til I die. Appreciate the gift. Appreciate the person that gave it to you. Remember the good feeling of receiving; but if it doesn't fit-get rid of it. This book released me from the guilt of giving to charity or a garage sale a gift that I'll never use. I don't think I'll be ringing bells or clapping hands but I really enjoyed the book.

Firstly, I want to say that this book is very minimally about feng shui. There is a very small section at the end and that’s all. If you are like me, and are looking for a book to learn about feng shui specifically, this book is not it. This book is much more about energy and space clearing . With that said, I found this book really interesting to read, and it was a really quick and easy read for me, but I had to take a lot of the advice with a grain of salt because in my Christian beliefs it talks A lot about having alters to different guides and setting out lots of offerings to different gods, which didn’t sit well with me. However, that’s just my personal struggle. The book itself was still very interesting to read

A most meaningful, informative and instructive guide for helping to get your life on track. By clearing out the old 'stuff' that accumulates in our life- both material and emotional - that we hang onto for no reason, or for the wrong reason, Ms. Kingston shows that we can make room for more abundance and blessings to come to us. Written in a straight forward and easy to follow manner, I read the book once through first, then again as I prepared to do the Space Clearing, then again after as followup. I am already seeing the results in my life and recommending this book to friends who want to change their lives. Note: I also ordered THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO FENG SHUI... by Lillian Too. It was helpful, but should be read after this one by Ms. Kingston.

Looking forward to using this book to create my own sacred space.

Great book, interesting read and in good Condition. Great tips for clearing clutter

It's been over 1 years since I began space-clearing. I cleaned and read books on space-clearing simultaneously. I think this book has spiritual aspect. I read some reviews that it's not feng shui and it might not be a traditional feng shui. Putting that debate aside, I really enjoyed the book. It kept me motivated to clean the house and get rid off stuff. I am happier, wealthier, and healthier.
