Another great PELTOR product. No regrets.
The 3M PELTOR WCX is a great addition to my ear defenders. I personally use the X4 series, helmet mount. The WCX attaches in seconds, and feels solid. The speak is clear and very reasonable for music playback too.The microphone is great at cancelling out ambient noise and works well, my only gripe here is that it cannot move up or down, just bent side to side. The only gripe overall of the unit, is that it’s a left ear only product. No ability to add a module to the right without the microphone, for stereo music playback, something I think it does very well. That said, it’s well worth the money if you like me have to wear ear defenders in your job, and need to take a call or even (like me) want to be able to be working up in the air in a cherrypicker and have a colleague on the ground call you instead of shouting. All in, a great device. If I ever lost it (I don’t think I’d be able to break it) I’d buy another in a heartbeat.

Not worth the money
Very poor. I read the 4 and 5 star reviews. ng about another product. The volume is so low when you use them in a noisy enviroment and the battery life is just aweful. Used it to make 3 calls, most of which I had to transfer to my handset as I couldnt hear. Battery flat by 2pm and had only been turned on at 8am.

Pretty good wireless attachment, but room for improvement considering the £65 price-point!
3M Peltor Wireless Attachment, full-time-user review:+ Long-use-duration speaker comfort is better than a bluetooth earbud blocking one’s ear canal.+ Speaker is a significant really useful feature to add to an insulating earmuff -the signal (speaker) to noise ratio is excellent as noises are effectively insulated outside the ear muff, for clear no-noise listening, I don’t need the Mic as much.- Micro-USB connector not up to the durability of the rest of the unit, it’s susceptible to internal circuitboard separation after just a few months of use, susceptible point of failure while rest of unit still well cared for. Means the unit can’t charge anymore, so an expensive waste of an otherwise functional bit of kit.- An issue affecting 2 two new units where the speaker even on full volume is very quiet when connected to either iPhone or Mac. I persisted and I’ve somehow managed to rectify this issue of the quiet-speaker at full volume with 2 new Peltor units, with some combination of: 1) switching to the Peltor device in Mic Input mode (makes speaker lower quality-sounding but a lot louder) and back to Peltor device in Sound Output Mode. 2) Switching Peltor device off, waiting many minutes, and switching back on again. 3) Pressing the button for voice redial, Siri. Thank goodness a combination of the above worked, I was going to try fully recharging the battery and or draining the battery, but thank goodness the above fixed it.- Sound playback sometimes disconnects bluetooth from time to time, happens with iPhone 7 and Mac mini.- Micro-USB cable is a little short, could do with being about a foot longer.- Microphone stalk catches on shirt collar.- Considering a good bluetooth earbud is about £12, and the above susceptibility this wireless attachment is overpriced at £65.——X3A earmuff review:-Has thinned out ear pads (around the ear it’s a larger ear hole with a thinner ring) than the X4A and X5A pads. This means the X3A cup plastic sits quite comfortably with the plastic support understand closer against the skin. I fitted some unused X4A / X5A pads I’d previously bought which solved the issue. Shame the issue arises considering they’re all about the same £30 price point.+A bit more room inside the earmuff for insulation than the X4A, without the very large/sticking out cups of the X5A.
