How can I make the fabric cover smooth out?

All pieces have been tightly compressed for a period of time, so it is not uncommon for it to look a little wrinkly, but don't worry, the fabric will gradually flatten out. You can use a garment steamer on moderate temperature to speed up smoothing.

How long can I keep it compressed in the box?

Due to the compressed package and the nature of the foam and fabric, the longer it’s in the box, the longer it will take to regain its form & firmness, so we recommend that you should open your box shortly after it lands on your front doorstep!

How long will it take my couch to regain its firmness and sturdiness after I open it?

Your couch will regain its original form and sturdiness within 1-2 weeks after unpacking, but you can use it immediately as playing with it will help the foam regain its shape. Note: foam firmness is designed primarily with kids' experience in mind.

How can I wash and clean it?

Our fabric supports machine washing. To preserve color, please wash on the coldest setting with only Kidirect pieces of the same color. You can spot clean with a moist cloth or soft brush. Also, you can use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dirt.

Are there any rules for playing with the Kidirect play couch?
