Vintage Crochet Hats and Accessories: 23 Classic Hats, Shawls, and Bags

I really love this book. I'm a beginner and I find the patterns very easy to follow. I've made two of the projects this book contains so far, and people that have seen them think I've been crocheting for years! There are not step by step pictures but there are good photos to see some of the details. This book does NOT teach how to do the needed stitches, so if you're really a beginner, you will need to look them up. The book does have a guide in the back that interprets the stitch abbreviations and another guide that goes over yarn weight vs hook size to be used for both crochet and knitting that I found quite useful. There are a lot of really nice patterns in this book for women, kids, and men, not just something cute on the cover and the rest being kinda "meh". I'd recommend getting it.

Some pretty good patterns for hats for men, women, and children that are flattering. Also bags, belts, and shawls.

I am so happy I ordered this book! I really love the vintage hats!! I even want to try to make the child's cherry hat in an adult size, because it's so cute! If you love vintage designs, you'll love this book!

The book has great pics, however lacks details. I purchased the book for the Flapper Cloche pattern. Was good with pattern, until round 9. I guessed what the actual pattern may be. Would have really helped if a stitch count followed some of the rows, so I would know how many stitches should be in any given row.

Very interesting patterns that I am intending to make in colours different to pictures. Very useful selection & variety of patterns. Love the book. Great for gifts to make.

Nice assortment of patterns. I enjoyed the historical info bites and pictures on some of the patterns. I can't wait to try these out.

Very disappointed in styles of patterns. Only the hat featured on the front cover was of interest.
