I'm the sucker that goes to sporting events and pays $5+ for a one time use rain pancho that I could've purchased from Dollar General. I wanted something that was quality and not clear. The Revival Gear rain pancho more then met my expectations. The item as a whole is surprisingly heavy. We had a pretty heavy storm today so I got a chance to test it out. It was raining cats and dogs and I normally would've gotten drenched (the storm was bad enough that half my town lost power). After taking the pancho off I was dry as a whistle. The quality of the item as a whole is top notch. After letting it dry off the pancho fit back in the pouch it comes in. The pancho has buttons and a draw string, not something I was expecting as I'm used to the dollar store quality ponchos. I haven't had a survivalist need for the pancho just yet but this will make a great addition to my bugout bag. This is perfect for camping as well and could justifiably be used as a blanket if need be. I'll be ordering another one and recommending this to family and friends.

This is a very high-quality poncho, perfect for camping and scout hikes. I purchased it for my Boy Scout son and he likes that it fits over his pack, keeping everything dry. It is very heavy duty and there is some heft to it-- it doesn't blow around like plastic disposable ponchos. It is heavier than I expected. I thought it would be light like rip-stop nylon or a rain jacket. That is the only downside, but not a deal breaker. It hasn't been used as ground cover yet, but it certainly can be spread out flat, so it'll probably work fine if needed as ground cover.

Worth the money. Very large, solid material. Could be used as a shelter if needed.I am using this for emergency purpose only...it is heavier than I anticipated, but it looks like it will keep you dry.Only comment...take it out of the package it came in and let it air out for a long time. It has a very strong plastic smell. Not something I'd want to breath or be around an for extended periodI'm not going to use the storage bag, just roll up the poncho and stick it in my emergency backpack

Quite heavy. Not a lightweight backpackers poncho. Tends to get damp on the inside. Extra long on short people.

Would like in a smaller size. As I'm under 5ft and it's a tad bit long. Good to keep in the car for those unexpected rain showers.

Had recived it and used same day to try out it works pretty good I thought it be plastic that rips quick but it ain't a bit heavy on heavy side if your into oz are lbs kind of thing but I love it i traded for my tarp for now to try. out further and seller interacts with you which is a plus so all is good

Bought this for hubby who works outside in the elements and he absolutely loves it!! It’s lightweight but sturdy and keeps him super dry.
