Go Gear VENT-10 Extra Large Black Vent Pack

I'm the type that tries several different versions of an item before settling on (what I hope to be) the best.I purchased almost all the different "catch alls" sold directly by Amazon. One had a clip that attaches to your vent, but easily comes off if too much is added, and the rest had a wire you bent to attach them. I like the wired versions best, and this one rose above the others in usability.It's a good size, but nowhere near "extra large" -- I had two others (made by different companies) that were bigger. However, this one is laid out the best of the bunch. One other model had an "outer" bag and an "inner" bag, sewn together at the neck -- the problem of course, is when you remove certain items, the "inner" bag kept coming out with the item you were retrieving -- thankfully, this particular catch all did NOT have that problem. The little mesh bag on the front of this catch all seemed more utilitarian than other bags as well. Others had the front bag stitched so tightly, it was difficult to remove the item (chap-stick or lighter) with just one hand while driving -- this catch all did not exhibit that problem, and was a breeze to use.The only real gripe I have about this particular catch all is its size. It will easily hold a pack of smokes or a pair of sunglasses. It is not as deep as others (a pack if smokes will rise about 1/4" above the neck), but I like that -- digging around for small items in the bottom of a deeper bag while driving could be a problem. I wish it were wider (it has about 1/2" on either side left over with a pack of smokes in it) so that I could put several light-weight items in it -- instead, I got two and use one for sunglasses and one for smokes.

After bending the wire & sticking it through the vent, this handy little vent pack stays put, holds items and is as described. My car has a tiny glove box & not much in terms of storage cubbies. This is perfect to hold my stereo remote, aux cable when not being used and any other trinkets that would move around the car. It's just the right size to hold things & not be in the way of anything. The mesh pocket on the front is perfect to hold the remote & allow access to the volume button.

Well, this is a useful bag, the problem is the .."installation" theres a little hook that can be put into the vent, but I found it really hard to get it to hook and hang right, it seemed to want to be angled off at the wrong side. In my repeated re-attempts to hang it, the hook ended up breaking out of the fabric. It is still functional, and its not like a horrible product, but its not as convenient as you might hope.

The big compartment is able to hold my pack of cigarettes, phone, and lighter and its nice and solid so it stays open. The little pocket will be good for things like hair ties and chapstick. I saw on other vent packs, people were having problems with the clips not coming off or breaking the vent, this one just has a wire thing with fabric over it that folds over the vent to hold on so its not a hassle but stays on very well. I have it on the top of the vent and it doesn't cover the vent at all and you're still pretty free to move the vent around. I would recommend this item.

I like having my cell phone sitting up an in view. I can now see if I'm getting a call. Before my phone sat in my cup holder and since I play the radio quite loud I rarely hear it ringing. The only downside, I have a hard time bending the strap around the vent. But once I get it, it works fine.

Once you insert the pack in the vent, it is very hard to get it out. I know it is secure, but if you didn't like the spot you put, it's not easy to change the spot. I pulled it out and the metal inside of the handle popped out of the end. Also, either my sunglasses or my cell phone do not go in and out smoothly. For that reason I am going to give this to a good will. I didn't expect this with the good rating.

Of course not everyone smokes, but most people can associate the size of these two every day items with what you want to carry. I bent the cloth covered attachment piece a little greater than 90 degrees about one inch from the end and slipped the bent end into my car vent. I like the size of the two pouches, cigs in the large pocket and a lighter in the smaller front mesh pocket. Very servicable product at a good price.

I work out of my car many days, so I need a centralized spot for my lipsticks, pens, gas card,ipod etc. My new car had zero pockets to stash these items in (other than get lost in the deep hole that is the arm rest console) so this little pack did a wonderful job organizing these things for me. Many of my coworkers have since gotten one as well.
